It's a tie! No way I can pick a favorite! 🥇 🥇 🥇. I was kind of impatient while the foam was OOS, so when I stumbled on a kickboard (for swimming) that seemed like a similar foam, I sure did test it out! Haha. I'm glad your foam blocks are back. 😁
I enjoyed learning more about the uses of the stamping foam. I have a brother who tools leather and I am going to do some images of the leather work and make Christmas cards for his kids for Christmas . He has been extremely ill this year and and think this would be a great way to have a piece of Dad's work on a card Thanks Simon.
Supergroovycool 😎 I love the masking technique. Genuinely never thought of it, but the sophistication of this one filled me with glee. I’m an old crafter, it takes a lot these days to make me swoon. I have so many outline/detail die combos ---not just butterflies, but dragonflies too. Plus Spellbinders entire collection of Die D-lite Medallions including the Celtic ones. And that is just the ones I can think of right now. Plus all of the patterns I can create in the foam. Do you know how many possibilities that is? Yeah, yeah, okay a finite set times a finite set is still a finite set but still…More possibilities than I’m going to get to in my lifetime. Mind blown. Thank you so much for sharing this one. Really you made my Stamptember.
I found this video very entertaining as well as educational. I have never thought of using the stamping foam to create a reverse image. Thanks for expanding my horizons.
That was a great video! How on earth did you line up the flower on that last card so nicely? I could never do that! That last card is my favorite and so beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
Well, I thought I liked the glitter butterflies until you stamped out that last card. The reverse stamping was awesome. Leaving the flower white was just perfect.
Wow, Simon you're rocking the stamping foam! I love all your cards but th the last one with the reverse image is SOOO cool. Need to get out my stamping foam again.
Such a clever idea. So glad you are giving so many ideas. Years ago. About 30 years ago we had magic stamp which was very similar product. So happy to have ideas and uses and bringing back a very clever product.
The stamping foam is brilliant. I will definitely be purchasing it. I've had the first slimline die in my wish list. Seeing you use it, is now a must have. I can't decide which card I like the most. Thank you for demonstrating today.
Wow did these cards turn out beautifully! It's so hard to pick a favorite, I just love the techniques and the colors you used. I must say the last one with the reverse stamped image surprised me because I'd have never thought of doing that, which is why you're the designer and I'm here watching your video! The cutaways to you die cutting at the back of the craft room are hilarious! 👍💖
Really great ideas. I like the last card/technique the best. Finally a mirror stamping that actually works! I’ve tried other techniques, however, I was never really satisfied with the results.
Never thought about using the stamping foam for reverse stamping...going to give it a try. Also, love your die cutting awkward moments...please don't ever edit those out 😊
Hi friends! Comment below which card is your favorite. :)
