21:07 “People go trough life as prisoners of their mind.
The only prison anyone lives in is their own perspective, their own point of view.
And if you can crack that - THERE IS NO GREATER GIFT
THERE IS NO GREATER SENSE OF LIBERATION AND FREEDOM
Than be able to help someone to see the prison they live within, that they superimpose onto circumstance but really is a reflection of the conversation they’ve had inside of them - usually for decades.
And to break that apart, that’s recoding that really is the ultimate emancipation of suffering”

I am going to listen to this several times…jewels of beautiful information 😍💕💜💕💜💕💜 My identical twin sister sickened with a terrible neurological condition when we were 13 years old, and died when we were 27.. My lesson of this lifetime. Takeaway quote for me: “Don’t use someone else’s death as an opportunity to worry about your own. Use that person’s death as an opportunity to illustrate how loving you are”. Not a direct quotation, but so meaningful to me💜💜💜💜💜

Wow Peter. You summarize all that I went through in my 20s in your 32 minutes in the conversation. Exhausted deflated, anxious, borderline depression are to name the few I juggled in to my 30s. How appreciative I am of my teachers, you are one of them, Byron Katie, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Joe dispenza... But most importantly my participation in life with no interruption through and through even in ghe most difficult times. I am aware and willing to walk with my head up high approaching 60s with more compassion, love and Autheticity without judgment fist for myself and then for others. I thank you all do much for being part of this emancipation and recreation of self. Let's all push the reset button and get busy with a life filled with joy and freedom ❤🎉😊😊😊😊

I'm still waiting for his book to come out. Perhaps there'll be more "how to" in there.

    • @ThinkingDoesntHurt
      @ThinkingDoesntHurt 3 месяца назад

But the "how to" IS in every video of his! 🧐 That's the 'how': 🤗
      1. The proof, that things absolutely HAD to happen the way they did, is... because they did. To bring you to this place of willingness to learn what *really* matters, where you are right now. There is value in there.
➡️ Radical acceptance of 'what is'. Not judging it. It's not 'bad', it just IS. What lesson is in there for you to get you yourself in a position to learn NEW things?
      2. You are just the story that you *tell* yourself that who you are the most often. And then your ego, that always just wants to be right, finds 'untrue proof' for you for that. "I'm not good enough, because... blablabla." You won't notice the thousands of proofs *against* that nonsense. Because your focus is always in the opposite direction.
➡️ Change your story script and thoughts, and your life changes. Peter-quote: "What you feel is real. It just isn't necessarily TRUE."
      3. Feelings/perceptions are in the now. Recurring emotions are just the residue of our past. So...
➡️ Ask yourself which *exact* emotion lies at the root of all your perceived problems in the now. Go deep to identify it as *exact* as possible! Journaling can help. When doing it alone, take your time to think it through properly.
➡️ Go back to the earliest 'event' you can find (mostly in childhood), where you felt like that.
➡️ Find the false 'benefit' that emotion provided you with back then. Example: You were treated as 'not good enough', and developed people pleasing methods to avoid being told that again in the future. Or you were physically abused, and developed a 'sixth sense' for dangerous situations, avoiding every possible vulnerability (not just, but also in relationships) that you could find. Resulting in being unable to experience intimacy, which is totally *based* on being able vulnerable with one another!
      Understand, that...
➡️ ...you were already BORN 'enough' and worthy to receive everything you rightfully expected! Love, respect, everything. Like every newborn. You still are. Human. With all there is to it.
➡️ Quit all "woulda, coulda, shoulda"! We all do what we can, at the exact level of development, health, energy, experience and insight we are at any given time. Of course that changes and gets added to every single day. Never mind 20 years ago. 😉
➡️ ...you were never/ are NOT insufficient in any way, you are just suppressing your potential with the stories you tell yourself.
➡️ Then go deep into that 'recurring life theme emotion' of yours. Feel the weight of it in your body!
➡️ And then ask yourself, how you would feel like, if it just disappeared into thin air. And then feel THAT! What is it you feel? Release? Relief? Freedom? Joy? All of that? Go find out. 🤗
You will find in any case, that your body and mind will give you a very revealing feedback.
If you need more insights in reading, check out Dr Joe Dispenza's books.
I believe in you. You got this! 💫 💞🙏

Same! I love what he says, but without the 'how to' it feels like window shopping. Tantalising, but just out of reach.

    • @ThinkingDoesntHurt
      @ThinkingDoesntHurt 3 месяца назад

I've jotted down some of his "how to's" for some time now. The following is what I collected so far. May it be of help to anyone who wants to have a go at it:
      1. The proof, that things absolutely HAD to happen the way they did, is... they did. 🤗 It's in your best interest, to look at the 'Why?' this way: To bring you to this place of willingness to learn what *really* matters, where you are right now. There is great value in there! Lamenting it will do you no good, and will just take your power away from you. What is it, that you are asked to do, by all the challenges life presented and presents you with? Where are you still staring at a potential threat, instead of relaxing into all the (yet unnoticed) potentials that are everywhere around you? You just haven't dared to turn around and look at them (yet)?
➡️ Radical *acceptance* of 'what is'. Not *judging* it. Whatever it may be, it's not 'good' or 'bad', it just IS. Makes it far less exhausting! What lesson is in there for you to get you yourself in a position to learn NEW things (future orientation vs. past fixation)?
The most important insight in life is to understand, totally accept, and use for your own expansion, is: "Life is going to present you with the people and circumstances that show you, where you are not yet free." The question is not, what you are confronted with, but how you *relate* and *react* to it. And it's about whether you are willing and able to actively *shape* the way you do that, into something that *serves* you instead of into something that *hurts* you. Again and again and again. Which is totally avoidable, once you fully understand the mechanism.
      2. Be aware of what you speak, because your words create the very container you live your life in. You are just the story that you *tell* yourself that, who you are, the most often. And then your ego, that always just wants to be right, finds 'untrue proof' for you for that. "Everyone is out to get me. OR... They are too stupid to 'get' me. OR... I'm not good enough *because* ... blablabla." You won't notice the thousands of proofs *against* all that nonsense that you are used to tell yourself. That's why it rings 'true', when it isn't. Repetition. And because your focus is always in the opposite direction, you won't be able to see all that's on the opposite side of it. Which is plenty.
➡️ Change your story, script and thoughts, and your life changes. PC quote: "What you feel is real. It just isn't necessarily TRUE." Which, by the way, is scientifically proven in many different aspects. 😉
➡️ Realize that your *FEAR* is just *Future Events Appearing Real* in your own imagination. Or even as *Fear Experienced As Reality.* In fact it's just a conversation with yourself in your own head. A hypothese, nothing more. There's nothing more freeing than loving the words "I don't know!" You don't *need* to know! Nobody does. Life is a series of surprises waiting to happen. Life is not fair or just, so don't demand this impossibilty of it. *By its very nature life is entirely unpredictable* - and through that, it reveals to you what it is about YOU, that you haven't been able to realize about yourself... yet. Your fears, concerns, insecurities, false beliefs. That's the beauty of it! Otherwise life would be boring and totally unfit to gift you with lessons for your expansion. Uncertainty = possibilities! It's not about what happens to you, it's about how you relate to it and are able to react to it.
➡️ Understand the nature of addiction to substances, habits or beliefs. P(eter)C(rone) quote: "No one will ever get enough of things that *almost* work." 😂 So, when you always react to the same circumstances in the very same way, that leads to the very same painful outcome... find the unconscious lies and beliefs about yourself and your world, that you have become addicted to. Write them down. Make them concious. And your entire life changes for the better. Been there, done that.
      3. Differentiate between your feelings and your emotions. Feelings/perceptions are in the NOW. Smell, sights, sounds, physical sensations, words spoken... Recurring *emotions* are just the residue of our past, long gone. So...
➡️ Ask yourself which *exact* emotion lies at the root of all your perceived problems in the now. The 2 most basic, opposite emotions are LOVE and FEAR. All other emotions are basically derivatives of those 2! Go deep to identify it as *exact* as possible! Journaling can help. When going on this journey of self-discovery by yourself, not with someone who can mirror you and give you immediate feedback, take your time to think the following through properly.
➡️ Go back to the earliest 'event' you can find (mostly in childhood), where you felt like that. Which circumstance made you think back then, that you have to think and be that way?
➡️ Find the false 'benefit' that your reactive emotion provided you with back then. Is it physical, emotional, financial security? Being loved? Not being hurt again by someone? Example: You were treated as 'not good enough' when you behaved the way you wanted to behave like? And then you developed people pleasing methods to avoid being told that diminishing thing again in the future. Or an openly aggressive, bitter stance, trying to 'protect yourself'. But not recognizing, that you invite toxic (self-protective) feedback by giving toxic (self-protective) output. Or you were physically abused, and developed a 'sixth sense' for dangerous situations, avoiding every possible vulnerability (not just, but *also* in relationships) that you could find? Resulting in being unable to experience intimacy, which is totally *based* on being able to be vulnerable with one another?
      Understand, that...
➡️ ...you were already BORN 'enough' and worthy to receive everything you rightfully expected! Love, respect, everything. Like every newborn on earth! You still are. Human. With all there is to it. All human imperfections included. So is every other human being on earth. Perfectly imperfect by design! Without that, tgere wiuld be no space for growth. Or as was once said of some MS Windows imperfections: "It's not bug. It's a feature." 😂
➡️ Quit all "woulda, coulda, shoulda"! We all do what we can, at the exact level of development, health, energy, experience and insight we are at, at any given time. Of course that changes and gets added to every single day. Never mind the 'you' you were decades ago. 😉
➡️ ...you were never - and are NOT now - insufficient in any way. You are only suppressing your true potential with those untrue stories that you tell yourself.
➡️ Then go deep into that 'recurring life theme emotion' of yours. Feel the weight of it in your body! How does it feel like? Where exactly do you feel it?
➡️ And then ask yourself, how you would feel like, if this false belief just disappeared into thin air. And then feel THAT! What is it you feel? Release? Relief? Freedom? Joy? All of that? Go find out. 🤗
You will find in any case, that your body and mind will give you a very revealing feedback. If you find more than one 'life theme emotion', repeat the process. Over time you will release and dissolve them all. Just keep at it. Strengthen your emotional immune system, like you do it for your physical immune system. Because you are worth it. All of it.
That's where you will find your (not only emotional) freedom. Which is the only 'success' in life that *really* counts. Eternally. That's true awakening. 💫 💞🙏
To help you with this, service your 'meat suit', that transports you through life, like you service your car. Good food, good sleep, good motion will help to create good emotions. Mind and body influence each other. All the time. So take care of your equipment on both sides. 😉

This is truth. I was kicked out of my home a week ago due to my act of disciplining our 5 year old in a non violent way that was not family approved. I made a decision at that point to learn every I can and accept whatever comes into my life as i gleefully work to develop massive wealth for my family. I was truly reacting in a way because “it was nap time”. There is no nap time. It doesn’t matter. Everything always resolves if you can recognize why you’re reacting.

It's not just the fear that something of value will emerge from the ashes of the dying ego, it's also often the complete ignorance that there is anything at all beyond the death of the ego/self i.e. if "I" die, then that is THE END. That identification of self with ego is complete, and the terror of ego death shows up as "there is nothing beyond this".

I have always struggled with anger , resentments, and unforgiveness. I have been working on it with a therapist and 12 step sponsor, and it is getting better. I was told that resentments only hurt you, not the wrongdoers. I had to write down my resentments and how they affected me to see the damage to motivate me to let go. I also had to write down my part in the resentments so I could see where i was in the wrong, make amends, change behaviors, build my character and reconcile relationships if appropriate. Obviously there are some situations you don't play a part like if you were abused. I really get into psychology and human behavior so I like to understand why people act how they do for example mental illness. It helps to have compassion on them and to wish them well. This is NOT justifying or condoning it just helps to understand, have compassion, and wish them well. Its also not good to get revenge, not only because of consequence but they will get their karma and there will be justice. If it motivates them to change and make amends be happy for them.

Aubrey the willingness you have to do your inner work with us all listering is what makes these talks. You go deep and its very personal, very authentic. Ive only just met with Peter and he's a beautiful speaker with so much to respect, but I can't but be struck by his reluctance to share his deeper more personal battles. You asked him to share something of his own in your first talk right after your share and he quipped that he'd played shit tennis. You asked again in this one after you'd gone deep and he again deflected with humour and asked if covid was real or not.. Maybe it's a reaction from coaching to keep the focus on the client and not himself.. Just something that stood out for me.. Still love listening to him and you both, but I really admire your deep willingness to do the work so publicly, the contrast was striking. Much Love.. .

By expecting a painful end you actually have the power to make exactly that happen with your thoughts alone... plus your putting your body through stress just by thinking about it, Aubrey work on this one you can change it round, theres a bit of trauma there from witnessing your Uncles passing, sit with it, I went through this after the same happened to my Dad years ago, lymphoma too so I resonate with you, maybe thats why I was meant to choose this episode, much love brother ❤️

My sacred places and my spiritual practice has been repeatedly violated throughout my entire life so there is no physical sacred place that you can go to... only within. I suffered because I did not do enough deep meditation and stay on track. I also left the circle of conscious friendships that I had in my life. I guess I learned to be in source without the support of others.

Here I am trying to find my answers and I have a bunch of people who look up to me and come to me like I'm some kind of guru and I have caught myself getting into ego and losing what draws people to lean on me and all I have really accomplished in life is winning the battle against heroin and meth use last shot I did was 2019 and I have zero interest in using again I tend to break out in handcuffs horrible allergy to have but even on those drugs I didn't lose integrity and I feel that is a part of my abilities to be done I don't have some of the shame I would have had if I stolen from anyone or hurt people I feel it definitely helped me and is apart of my success after the drugs

I realized during this that my dad violating my journals growing up still inhibits me from being able to be honest in a journal so I don't do it. I found out he had been pulling them out of the trash and reading them when i walked into my graduation party and discovered discovered decorations he and his wife had made....were out of pages pf my journs going back to middle school 🙃 hopefully one day I'll be able to freely journal. I keep trying

Conversations with god by Neil donald Walsh and eckhart tolle are great reads to understand the ego .when a baby picks up something to play with it attaches itself to it mentally then it becomes part of the self identity so when it's taken away the baby crys because it's lost part of itself this is the beginning of ego when two people are arguing they are fighting for their lives their self identity but in truth it's only a thought form. the ego is not only a false sense of self but a physic parasite and any parasite is insane by nature it kills the host of course at the moment of death of the body we find we aren't the ego but infinite mutidimential consciousness beyond time and space. so now that I've had a kundilini awakening and experienced myself as infinite consciousness I keep my mind open and don't draw conclusions because there is always room for expansion and when I reach full knowing of this mind body soul set up a new door will open into a realm I know nothing about. I am eternally expanding.
