This video got me worried about the little cat - the desert is no place for a kitten. No wonder she was trying to drink your tea, she must have been thirsty. I hope you gave her some water and food, and got her to a safer place? 😭😭😭
The desert is no place for a kitten? Modern domestic cats are descended from wild cats that lived in the desert, if anything the desert is a kitten’s true home lol they are resourceful little creatures
Yes even in extreme wind it can handle the wind awesome, always clear. This one is getting a bit loose now so it’s even better when you first buy them. If you get one it’s best to get about 3 because after a while they do get loose. I think we probably go through 2 a year so they do last quite a while
Wadi Rum is a favorite place for the King of Jordan, Abdullah to hang out with the royal military special forces. A sporty and healthy person, he likes to climb those rocks and explore the inner cracks. There’s a video of him drinking tea and eating the same meal you had. He visits the Wadi often and eat with the Bedouins. Thanks for this unique visit to Wadi Rum. Would love to stay a night or two and experience what it’s like in the desert at night with nothing to entertain yourself but staring at the stars and listening to nature. Nice one, Chris and Carol.

As much as I love the water, I must say that this was amazing! The sand appears as ground cinnamon with so much vibrance. Can not wait for next Saturdays video of Petra. Oh, looks like you were wearing one of the alpaca pull-overs in the end there. That should keep you warm!
Thanks for the desert adventure experience. Sandboarding, rock climbing, tea in the desert, surrounded by a herd of camels. Quite amazing to find enough sticks to make a fire. Interesting how the turban was wrapped.

Stunning desert scapes and ur guide was very sweet!FYI, Aqaba is Jordan's Red Sea resort town.Plenty of diveshops and great dive and snorkeling sites near shore though not as large as neighboring Sharm Al Sheik.area on the Israeli side.
My husband and I were to visit Jordan last year (2021) but due to Covid travel restrictions, it was not possible. We were booked to visit Oman in Dec. 2020. But the country had its border shut. I hope you guys visit Oman. Oh... by the way... We are booked for next year's Brazilian Carnival. So I will be watching your videos again to take some notes.

That’s sandboarding. We have them in the sand dunes here in Ilocos Norte. Not quite as high though. That encounter with camels was really cool. You look like Lawrence of JP Chris. 😁👍
Hey Chris and Carol. Been moving and dealing with a lot, so we have been trying to get time to watch. I liked the end of Egypt and the first Jordon video and well, I never knew they had so much Greek mythology and Roman era buildings. Where you are staying now is really nice, and yes, in the palm trees is where all scorpions live as well as under rocks and near water hidden in the cool rocks. That was just a fun fact I know Carol will hate to hear.😏 Dune is one of my favorite movies, that is cool to know it and all the other movies were filmed in that location, very awesome. Like the little cat, you both seem to make friends with all animals. nice canyon you climbed in and the bridge with Carol "I am not standing on it!' Yes you are HAHA as Carol buggies off of it, very funny. The rock formations are very beautiful as I do love the desert and all its different color mountains and sands, It is something I have always lived close to, or lived in the desert of Palm Springs and Las Vegas. Would do Utah's Zion and Cathedral rocks. I really liked your tour guide Achmed, he was very nice and a really great fun guide. It was all wonderful I am glad you had such a great time, I would of loved it. God bless and keep living your dream.
Another great adventure! You must have run into some of the friendliest camels I've ever seen! BTW, the ONLY completely wild camels left to their own devises live in (of all places) Australia! I'm sure your joining your Bedoin guide in rock climbing those all canyon rocks barefoot impressed him but I doubt you'll get any offers from climbing shoe companies wanting you to sponsor them! LOL. Interesting seeing that grilled tomato and onion dish grilled right over the open fire fueled by dried out bushes ( somewhat brought to mind that God spoke to Moses in the Sinai via a Burning Bush). Amazing how they've made that vegetable first grown in Mexico such a vital part of the cuisine despite tomatoes evidently being unknown in the Middle East 200 years ago! Great video and I'm looking forward to Petra!
Great video. Your usual high quality filming. At Petra make sure you go all the way out to the Monestary. It's a trek, but worth it. Other vloggers have missed it.

I noticed you guys didn't have any wind noise while driving on the car. Do you have an external microphone for the gopro ?
We just use a windslayer. It’s like a sponge cover that goes around the GoPro, it works wonders. We get them from Amazon

I visited Wadi Rum 18 years ago. As I look at the colors of the desert, nothing has changed. Maybe more tourists, but the place is very cool.🤙
