2:54 You're really close to pronouncing it correctly, and I’m impressed! The 'y' sound is tough for non-natives, but you nailed it separately at 3:03. For Jyväskylä, start with a strong 'J' in 'Jy' and remember that stress in Finnish is always on the first syllable: JY-väs-ky-lä. Great job! 3:55 I really wouldn't use this song as an advice how to pronounce the names. 🤣 I wouldn't recognize that if it didn't read on the screen.
very catchy song 😃🙃it makes me smile.. I live in Espoo right next to Helsinki..and for years I hope to travel to see much more what my own home country offers..
You pronounce the names better Mauro. You even recognised some of the wrong pronunciations right away 👍. Well done! The maker of this video obviously had problems with atleast y, ä, and å. It started well but got worse towards the end. And that Päijänne was a bit weird because in some of the other names he pronounced the j correctly, so why not in that one? 😮. Otherwise it was a great little song about the regions. Good idea to make a catchy song about a list of names👍.
I used to live in Kokkola before i moved to Tampere. In Mikkeli i had very beautiful woman who i dated for a month. But it didn´t work becouse i lived west shore and she at easter Finland. From my place to her place were 363km and i didn´t have time enough to visit there very often. I´ve been 16 of those cities. Only Kouvola, Lappenranta and Lahti are places that i haven´t visited yet.
An extremely good video. Omg, how much they have put into it, and also made it so funny! Nevertheless, I have to say that they got two things wrong, i.e. Österbotten and Åland. Those two should have been in Swedish.
Don't worry about how they pronounced Päijänne, I wouldn't of even understood it If it wasn't in text and I live quite literally on the beach of the lake.

I've visited every region. Born and living in Central Finland.
I hope some day i can do the same!

Music doesn't say those right. Päijänne for example is said wery differently.
