- Potato, meat and apples in salad?
- Yes, of course.
- Now I'll add some cheese...
- ARE YOU NUTS?
Potato and Apples isn't so outrageous, think Fruit Salad or Russian Salad, but meat would definitely never come to anyone's mind when the word "Salad" is mentioned. I think Mango should contact atleast the modpack author about this, it's not like its super easy to produce anyways, so it could be a good way to reward progress into the modpack. Maybe make it so it requires a mixer and a heat source?.
@@b.j.880 What do you mean? The best salads have bacon bits or chicken strips. Or just straight up ground beef.
To be honest, not that bad.
Potato Salad: Potatoes, soft boiled eggs, mayo, onions white works but green is best, bacon
Cranberries and sunflower seeds are surprisingly good in a salad. You don’t even need dressing
@12:54 did anyone else notice that "bull #6" was actually a cow XD
Yep 😂
Must be Otis
Maybe it was a cow (male)
Yes
You're not incorrect
You cannot put cheese in the salads (even though that is common in real salads) but you can get dairy in salads via boiled eggs.
I must say it shows extreme courage / confidence to build all 8 milkers before you test with just one.
I was thinking the same.
It was "He's the chosen one" moment from Matrix when it worked.
??
This is one of the most simple machines imaginable, how are you two so impressed by this?
@@iveharzing seeing how like 1/3 of "pretty simple machines" failed in this modpack, it's wise to test everything first.
@@iveharzing It's not the complexity. If it was me, I'd make one, then bring in the cow to test that one, then make the other seven. Any system requires testing, and if changes are needed, he would have had to make them eight times.
@@iveharzing ngl looking at it I expected the items to fall off the belt and not get picked up by the funnel. Those things have been hell for me to utilize
I miss skyblock, but this series has turned into a treat and I can’t get enough. Well done mango
Same
Same
I wonder if recreating the whole vanilla chunk was a chunk more than he could chew.
@@willmathesonlol
same! however this has managed to fill a similar niche for me so I dont mind it a ton. and mango seems to be having alot of fun which is more important. a bored mango is a boring mango.
"i added decoration" *put 3 barrels in a 1000m² room* 😭😭
go away
@@mrShift_0044 ??
Dude i notoced that as well, decor is not ilmangos strong suit!🤣
It's kind of refreshing to see mango struggle with create stuff, atleast something he hasn't mastered yet.
Also I enjoyed this longer episode, mango's videos are always fun to watch
Dont know if we could call this a longer episode after the previous one 😂
yeah its so funny to see him trying to apply redstone logic to the create stuff
@@johanavril1691 also funnel to a drain block, XD
Having the milk tank outside the barn and put a rounded top on it like a silo would look cool imo.
Agreed!
Every time when he’s using funnels for stuff that absolutely doesn’t need it (like the item drain) every cell in my body starts shivering and crying
Vinegar is used in pickling. If you have a picklable food item (almost every fruit, veg, and meat) you can first brine it by sticking it in a barrel of brine for a little while, then pickle it by sticking it in a barrel of vinegar. After pickling, if there is enough vinegar left in the barrel, the food item will have a "preserved in vinegar" status as long as it remains in a vinegar barrel. Foods preserved in vinegar last something like 10 times longer than unpickled foods.
from personal experience humus(the potzol looking layer item) is one of the best brown items for compost(4 brown per each), they also have quite an interesting in world recipe, basically any leave pile that gets cover by snow during winter will turn into humus
ngl thought your were taking about the food hummus at first 😏
this is completely realistic, but for mc mechanic that's pretty unusual
I would just like to say that the hour long videos every once in a while is really nice to let us see an increase in content.
Ilmango's cooking is giving me some cooking with Etho flashbacks, "random BS go!!" level cooking XP
The way that mango uses the item drain is... Interesting 🤔
You can probably just have a single belt bring buckets to a single item drain (which doesn't need funnels if you just put the belts one block higher) and return empty buckets
Fun fact: chiseled stone blocks can also cause cave-ins... If mango ever digs under the basement floor it's gonna be fun xD
If you're trying to say they're affected by gravity you're wrong - they're not. The act of chiseling a block of raw stone can cause a cave-in because you lose a natural support block but the blocks of chiseled stone themselves don't fall.
my experience has been blocks of chiseled stone won’t cave in themselves if they lack support and will actually support blocks above them and prevent cave-ins, but if there is a cave in triggered they will fall like stone or cobblestone
You don't need funels for the bucket emptyer. A belt at the same level of the top of the drain going in for the full bucket and another one after for the empty.
12:53 that was actually a cow :D but it's too late now I guess 😂
Yah I thought it said female lmao. I was too lazy to double check tho so I just remained mildly suspicious buy I trusted Mango lol
I know these are prerecorded, but you could easily make a system with one belt running down the line each direction, one item drain and one pump only. Still great to see you giving the Create mod a spin. So mich fun!
Last I knew, if you make a hole with 10,000 buckets of a liquid, then a pump will consider it an unlimited source. ZedaphPlays did this with Lava, Milk, and other liquids in his Create series. I would love to see you try this. Maybe try other liquids?
Ooo I wonder if that would work with eg liquid iron
@@NStripleseven Idk, I suppose if it works in this pack AND you can place that liquid in the world then it should.
It only work with lava and water in the base config.
You can add more liquids but you need to tinker with the mod's config files.
Also, I'm pretty sure it's gated behind the endgame of TFC - the recipe for the hose pully uses a normal bucket as far as I know. And crafting a bucket uses red and blue steel
Yeah, you can't put buckets of liquid with the rope pulley
Finals week is here, yet here I am staying up and waiting for a new ATFC upload :') This series is really addictive haha!
Log piles touching your house will attract termites mango! 😂
I am definitely excited to see trains / railways in the future. Would be super cool to see a massive railway station
I wish there were vegan alternatives for the Meat & Dairy bars in Terrafirmacraft 😭😭
The "bull" at 12:53 was in fact a cow.
You don't have to use filters, just click on the slot with the bucket item
+1
Come on I have to sleep
lmao always posting while its night for me too, 00:23 now
1:24 now haha
It's the best lullaby background video to sleep while watching
Don't forget to like the video before starting, that way you're guaranteed a nice night of sleep
God fucking dammit ilmango
Have a glass of milk...
I like to imagine that the cows are water skiing 😂21:10
In real life cranberry, cheese, lettuce, sunflower seeds, and bacon bits is a surprisingly tasty salad with all good groups if you count sunflower seeds as grain, otherwise you would have to add croutons.
Any episode above 30min is an event and I love it
Hi mango! I know backsitting is not the best but here is a tip for the item drains:
instead of having: Funnel -> belt -> Funnel -> Item Drain -> Funnel -> belt
You can do: Funnel -> belt -> Item Drain -> belt
For this to work, the item drain has to be at the same Y level as the belts, and they will auto transfer from and to the item drain. Saves you a lot of funnels!
My favorite thing to watch right now… also, I love the rather subtle Lord of the Rings references!
ilmango:
'Lets make something nice for the cows'
also ilmango:
'Lets build a barn where they are milked daily and are useless after a single year'
Why did it melt my heart when he called the cow "buddy"!?❤
They need a pizza mod that would give all 4 food groups
morbidly obese illmango eating whole pizzas to go through the day
always love a new atfc
I've got a tunnel bore that I designed that uses deployers to place and then punch out slime blocks, really easy way to get rid of liquids
An optimization you can do with your milk machine: you don't need to belt the bucket onto the item drain. The drain will automatically eject the bucket onto an adjacent belt or depot, so you can just drop the item directly from the funnel onto the item drain and save the belts and shafts
I like how the base is turning out, very nice!
I think a really fun functionality to add to the dogs would be a herding/mustering mode. Make it so that they help you move animals around which is realistic and also extremely helpful.
I feel like being able to make a food with all stat increases would feel like a good accomplishment and should be added. With how difficult it is to even keep up with your nutrition I feel it’s a lost opportunity for the mod authors as far as having an advancement for this because it’s no easy task.
Thanks for the awesome content and great videos!!
I think you can cycle the milk buckets with funnels and encased fans. Place drain a couple of blocks higher than funnel from the deployer, place receiving funnel from under the drain and then extracting funnel at the side of a deployer and another receiving funnel on top of the deployer.
Milk buckets from the deployer should be lifted up with fans.
Always a good day when there is a new episode of autoterafirmacraft
Plus, I do not unserstand why would you need filters for ONE ITEM. Just place the item itself in the filter slot!
33:22 I'm surprised at how fast ilmango did that multiplication. I know it's powers of 2 but even I struggled for a second.
Vanilla Hay Bales! Can you turn those into Vanilla Wheat to make Create Dough?
No
I'd love to see you bore a rail tunnel all the way to someone else's base - a real challenge would be to do it with Create rails and full size trains. You could even have a second train going back and forth delivering supplies and bringing back the raw material!
I can't get enough, thanks boss
I'm just imagining eurobeat music while mango drags along cows at insane speeds 😂
"It's just nice to have some whisky in the basement"
lolz :D
Ilmango might love Vintage Story, the game is basically ATFC and more.
Ilmango: "800 blocks to get this cow to the udder" 13:14
The mix of TC survival content and automation is great, so is this release schedule!
Croutons exist??? Whoever made those restrictions is insane
yet another banger
More ATFC! Let's gooooooo
great video
Can use a flinger thingy to throw the empty buckets into a hopper on top. Can make design way more compact.
Glad you added the word “cow”
PETA would be really mad at this episode because of the industrial milking farm and mass breeding
yeeeah, totally not happening in real life....
thank you ilmango for milking the cows automatically
The mic spikes on the S are crazy man
Quite the title.
YO THIS IS WHAT CAMMAN18 USES TO MAKE SHORTS NO WAY
How do you even store all of this information in year head?!?!?!?!? If it wasn't for the crafting recipe book in Bedrock I'd still be refering to notes to creat EVERTHING!! Also that automatic milking machine is so cool 😊👍👍👍👍
60 seconds after drop lets gooo!
just as i thought i was caught up!
One of the bull no. 5 is a cow he missed itttt 😂 12:54
He’s well on his way to the industrial “agriculture” age
Time to sl... to watch, of course
Not the title I was expecting
The deployer itself also has a filter.
You can use the actual item as a filter too :)
You should make a machine that can cut canals, so you have transport
Ilmago does not know how important bone meal is for endgame. Not that the tiny amount he has would make a difference, you need it completely automated.
Why is it important?
mango, you can place two drills behind each other, you should play with it.
mango's cow juicers😂
Bull number 6 was a cow lol
the goal should be to make an infinite milk source. I think it´s a 21x21x21 hole if I´m not mistaken.
Ah! The auto barn!
Let's Go!
I get the sense you've seen zedaph's infinite milk cube
imagine doing 10 000 milk source blocks in this modpack
~12:54 "Bull Number 6 and Bull Number 7" the 'Bull' you looked at that you dubbed 'Bull Number 6' was a Female.
More I want more ATFC :p
Maybe you can slice up the cheese with a knife? It makes sense to not put a whole wheel in there, but breaking up a slice of cheese could work.
12:55 bull number 6 actually identify itself as a cow
im sure you get a lot of suggestions but you can change your entity radar on the minimap to show named/thumbnails. options are on your worldmap
Idk if youll even see this before the next episode, but "bull #6" was actually a female cow lol 12:54
Boss.
would have loved a milking setup with only one pump an drain, where all the buckets get transported to
Wow, I'm here within the first minute
Lets goooooo
I’m wondering if you could use just one pump in-front of the milk tank to pump out the milk of all 8 stations instead of one pump for every station.
Someone tell Ilmango that eggs give you dairy and protein.
I guess there is no milking stream in the foreseeable future.
bull #6 was a cow!
@ilmango Would putting a box around the bore be a good idea at all?
you shouldn't need to use funnels to put buckets into the drain, putting the drain at the end of the belt, at the same height as the belt should be enough
I guess you probably need to figure out that dead crop seed reproduction cycle and expand your grains to feed the animals, plus dough production.
I wonder if you can automate the poisoned compost thing and maybe even the seed reproducing with deployers, but that surely requires testing in creative.
Also, why 8 pumps to run all milking lines? Can't you use one pump after all milking lines like any fluid circuit IRL? (I don't play this pack but it would make perfect sense, specially considering the small distance and low volume).
