Thank you very much for this video Germany and Japan are very similar in many respects and they are two very nice countries I am from Algeria and I prefer to live in Japan because I love Japanese culture German culture is also very beautiful
I am Japanese and I love Germany! I'm thinking about studying in Germany! Of course I want to go to various countries! So I studied English and other languages! 🇯🇵🇩🇪🌎💕💕
I would rather visit Japan 🗾 no doubt about that. As for living. I am well aware that living is much easier in Germany, but idk. Japan is just unique and beautiful. It's very hard to choose
It really depends on your cultural and linguistic backgrounds, as well as how well you understand the local mentality when it comes to emigrating to Japan. Some non-Japanese who idolise Japan end up experiencing a rude awakening upon arrival because of such vast cultural differences, but others who appreciate or personally like the stoic societal norms of Japan, tend to fit in a lot easier. I am not sure what it’s like living in Germany, but I can assume that as a Western state, Westerners (or English speakers) will most likely fit in better in Germany in contrast to Japan. Japan being an Island nation which had an isolationist policy for centuries, has a distinct language with its own linguistic family (Japonic), as well as the population being extremely homogeneous (rather mono ethnic) with 98.5% being ethnically Japanese. To expect to “fit in” or “naturalise” after emigrating there would not be so simple, and would only be natural to assume that emigrating to Germany would probably be easier.
Adding to that is that Germany is the second greatest immigrant destination and therefore cultural variable country in the world after the USA. Almost everyone here speaks English or atleast understands it which makes it easy for foreigners to, let's say survive 😅 not so sure about that in Japan.
Economically, Germany has many great neighbors and has an advantage. However, Japan, which has a wide territorial waters, has an advantage in military affairs. The sea is excellent at transporting goods in addition to defense. Because ships can carry more supplies with less energy than trucks.
I live in Canada and have been to many countries, including 🇩🇪 and🇯🇵. I like both, although I don't call myself patriotic towards any nation in the world and would rather live in Germany than Japan
I am from Spain🇪🇸. Now I am living in Germany for a year. I would love to visit Japan because is more exotic and I ve never been there. But I think if you are western, Germany will be better for you in case you want to live in another country

For also asking what countries to live in or visit, you actually didn't talk about ANY travel destinations in the countries. You should maybe add that in future videos.
I don't know if Germany is on good terms with its neighbors, but it is a great advantage that there are many developed countries in neighboring countries and the EU can become one.Japan wants to compete with Southeast Asia and India by getting along well with Korea, which has achieved remarkable economic development.(Of course, with the United States.)I want to get along with China, but I can't get along with them in terms of human rights violations and communism that doesn't follow rules.

I'm surprise that Germany have 16.7% of population are below the poverty line! Does it mean that Germany have problem with wealth distribution compare to Japan? I meant Japan is only 1.4%, have bigger population, less GDP per capita, and much more expensive to live in.
@@luis15317 12:02 OR it could be mistake by the editor. Maybe they meant 14% instead of 1.4%! Because 1.4% is way too low. Also, they should be providing a reference where there getting this data to make it more credible.
It might depend on the definition of poverty. "Poverty" in Germany does not mean you have to fight to survive as there are social benefits you would recieve in case. "Poor" people in Germany are mostly richer than many people in the world who work. Noone has to starve or to live on the streets. I guess it is similar in Japan.
Germany surpassed now Japan and is now the 3rd biggest economy (again, it was actually already the case in the 20. century). Living in Germany is likely for most people better, because its right in the center of Europe with masses of other countries around (with the big European diversity between really old and new) while Japan, relatively isolated is rather interesting to live their for some time to get another more exotic experience or in general to visit is as fascinating country that it is ...

🇯🇵❤️🇩🇪 Germanipônicos.
Germany is better than Japan when it comes to quality of life but Japanese are very hard working. So, both countries have pros and cons.
Germany also has a hardworking image in Europe.

Only Japan The Best in Every thing
Why?
No
I'm surprise that Germany have 16.7% of population are below the poverty line! Does it mean that Germany have problem with wealth distribution compare to Japan? I meant Japan is only 1.4%, have bigger population, less GDP per capita, and much more expensive to live in.
Yeah that doesn't make sense unless Japan fakes its statistics like they do with the criminal statistics just so they look good in the outside.
@@luis15317 12:02 OR it could be mistake by the editor. Maybe they meant 14% instead of 1.4%! Because 1.4% is way too low. Also, they should be providing a reference where there getting this data to make it more credible.
@@encabsss that sounds more accurate. J just looked it up and found the numbers 15% and 16% in another page for Japan. Pretty similar to Germany
Germany actually has a poverty rate of 4.31%, he got some false informations :)
Big japan

Germany surpassed now Japan and is now the 3rd biggest economy (again, it was actually already the case in the 20. century). Living in Germany is likely for most people better, because its right in the center of Europe with masses of other countries around (with the big European diversity between really old and new) while Japan, relatively isolated is rather interesting to live their for some time to get another more exotic experience or in general to visit is as fascinating country that it is ...
Japan
Japan 🇯🇵
Banzai🎌🎌🎌
I would really want to live in Japan rather Germany. Japan has a booming economy. They are the largest tech country. They have a better standard of living. They have better cars that are reliable and worth the money and they are very polite and respectful.
