    Another good review, i ended up going for a second hand A3 over a new Festa or Ibiza, quality in the Audi is fantastic, smooth and refined to drive and fun round the corners, it may be alittle expensive to buy but you get what you pay for.

      You're absolutely right. Worth the extra cash, if you can stretch to it.

    This particular model seems to be very good value for money, even though the MMI infotainment is at extra cost.

    The s line, is the model I think everyone should go for, Exterior wise,it’s absolutely stunning, interior is nice but a little dull, I think they should make the interior more dynamic like Mercedes have done with the new a class.

    Great review as always. It’s interesting that my Golf with same engine can get 59/60 MPG quite easily. Another car reviewer had same issue. Might be just lucky :)

      @driversseat659  6 лет назад +1

      Thanks Keith Fernandes that’s lovely of you to say. The mpg a reviewer gets is likely to be a little worst than you’d get if you owned one (unless you drive like you stole it) as we are testing out acceleration etc more vigorously and messing about filming (lots of u-turns). However, it gives a bit of a marker against the claimed mpg.

      I bought exact same model identical to this but no reverse camera or reverse sensor,no electric seat. Just sat nav,cruise control and ac. Also you have to start with key no push button as most car nowadays

      Martin Procházka not sure, the press cars provided are so often full of added extras and I don’t think we’ve tested an A3 with a standard stereo. Sorry about that.

      Rear seating position not comfy as most car out there also no rear arm rest. I own a Mazda 6 previously and it was so comfortable in every way. I think audi a3 for young drivers. If you want something nice seating position and comfortable ride for long journeys then don’t buy A3. Go for something like A4,A6

    I was very disappointed with your Audi Q5 review, I have just bought a brand new 2.0 tfsi with air suspension and acoustic glass, from what I can remember is that you test drove the tdi and maybe with s suspension?
    You said the Q5 was noisy, unrefined and dull? Now maybe you should clear up that it was just the model and spec that you test drove not the q5 in general? As myself and many other car reviewers are aware that it is on a different level to the xc60 for pace, refinement and quite cabin levels compared to all its rivals! I like your reviews but think you was way off the mark with the q5.

    • @driversseat659
      @driversseat659  6 лет назад +1

      Hi Adam.
      Appreciate your thoughts.
      We always specify which model we are testing on our reviews, verbally and with a strap line at the bottom of the screen, so there is no ambiguity.
      We have spoken to numerous motoring journalists who agree with our review, while, and like you mention, there are others who like the Q5. It's a surprisingly divisive vehicle.
      In our opinion, however, it is rather lacklustre and uninspiring to drive and the new Volvo XC60 is far better to drive. It's all a matter of opinion.
      The interior of the Q5, though, is spot on.
      Hope you enjoy your new Q5.

      Thanks for your response,
      Wow you guys must be the only motor journalist in the world to say that you like the way the new Volvo XC60 drives.

    • @hedydd2
      @hedydd2 6 лет назад +1

      No they are not. I've yet to see a negative review of the XC60. Most do day that it is not as sporty, but that can be taken as a complement by probably most ordinary drivers who value their comfort.

      By like I mean Handling,
      You said it’s better then the q5?
      For driving? I didn’t say the Volvo isn’t a good car just not as good as the Audi in any way, doesn’t handle as well, isn’t as good on the inside, slower, worse on fuel, smaller boot, rear doors don’t open wide enough for my child seat to be put in easy, air suspension is nowhere near as good as the Audi’s, also road wind and tyre noise is louder.
      I have just watched back your review of the q5 you drove was on s suspension!
      You can’t review a car and judge it on a silly suspension choice, have you not watched Matt’s review on car wow?
      Also s suspension must change cabin noise because the q5s I have drove are close to a8 silent. As for leaning in the bends you might want to watch this mate ruclips.net/video/uqIjflKPSu0/видео.html

    • @hedydd2

      What a lot of people, and reviewers generally forget, is that the vast majority of drivers are not concerned with ultimate handling or indeed acceleration beyond a certain point. What they are after is a well rounded car with features that interest them, whatever that may be. You have found your ideal car for now and I hope you remain similarly enthused in three to five year's time. The new car euphoria often wears off after a while when failings begin to be noticed, whether harsh suspension, excessive road noise, rattles or poor seats. I loved my XK8 until I found it gave me back ache after an hour or more driving, every time.
