Haha I couldn’t stop laughing when Aaron was explaining it to her because you could tell that she was just sooo lost. Once I thought about it though he’s basically saying that you already know how to Ollie, you know how to nose manual and you know how to shove it so just do it. That’s all there is to it. Your chocolate box is your trick selection, pick out the ones you wanna do (eat) and just eat em (do the trick). Pretty brilliant explanation if you think about it.

Well done Emma, that willingness to go for something even when it scares you, is admirable, and not a common trait among humans. I'm sure it felt awkward learning on a video that hundreds of thousands of people will likely see with Aaron Kyro himself teaching you, but you handled it well, certainly better than I would lol.

This might be my favorite video you guys have done. I love how positive and supportive you are the whole time. I'm the kind of person that gets easily frustrated, or tends to take things too seriously. Teachers who can keep things light-hearted and casual are the best kind. And Emma is rad.

Emma is such an inspiration for me... Shows me even I can learn to skate.. Amazing. Just bought and setup my first board. Already fell in love with it. I'm 17 now. I think the only thing that was keeping her from landing the tricks was her tendency to square her shoulders to the direction instead of the board...well done on really wanting to learn!

I was listening to music and watching snl, and as an old skate that can't roll anymore, this came up as a rec.

⚠️ Thanks to you I started skating 🛹 again after like “17 YEARS” and videos like these are what inspire me. I “wasn’t” that good at the time and had no one to teach me but thanks to your videos I know have some guidance. I borrowed my cousins board and for now ima practice before purchasing my own board. I had a tony hawk 🛹board but idk what happened to it. (Loved tony hawk when I was a kid) anyways, now that I’m older I feel like I’ve developed an eye for detail which I’m sure will give me the added benefit I didn’t have as a kid along with muscle maturity. Thanks for getting me back out there, really missed this.
‼️PS,,, I had done a trick as a kid that I don’t know what it’s called and no one at the skate park could tell me either, I call it the “Joy flip” 🛹 that was like the only trick I could really do and I’m quite proud of it given it’s a unique trick..

Yeah, that's been driving me nuts lately
I recently got a new board. I'm a really small 13 year old and I've been practicing ollies for three weeks everyday for an hour each day. But my ollies just can't get off the ground. I'm sliding my foot up the board and I think I'm capable of doing it but I just can't get it. Any help would be brilliant.
