Refreshing to hear someone admit their mistake; so many RUclipsrs/Instagramers/Tweeters have so-called perfect lives where nothing bad ever goes wrong in their perfect life. It goes a long way in my book when someone admits their mistakes, and also I've always believed if you don't admit your mistakes you will never learn from them. Respect to you for putting it all out there, successes and failures.

Where we live in OKC, OK we’re fortunate enough to have the extremes of both heat and cold. Mostly heat though. Batteries come out between the 3rd & 4th year for me whether they work or not. The extra wear an old/weak battery puts on the electrical system isn’t withheld it. Let alone the 100% chance of a preventable breakdown.

It was smaller than the groove and It didn’t wanna stay in the groove and it kept popping out I had to use rtv to hold it in and even then it kept popping out and falling it was very difficult for me.

Car dealers make more money in parts ,labor and selling used cars than they do in selling new cars. Every part is outrageously marked up. They get there parts from the same places you can. Taking your car to A dealer for repairs is the dumbest thing you can do if it's not warranty work. Especially if it's a older car. Follow the money . Why sell you just a 10 thermostat when I can sell you a 150 dollar thermostat housing and sensor combo. My Malibo need a water pump. Chevrolet says can't get one without buying the water pump, thermostat, water bypass for dual climate control housing combo which my car doesn't even have for 300 bucks. Plus three gaskets for 8 dollars a piece the coolant for 30 bucks . O and we are going to charge you 600 bucks to put in on. No thank you. Thank God for after market . Got the pump for 55 bucks and the gaskets for 8 $ total. There wasn't anything wrong with the housing or the thermostat so why should I buy one. Took about a hour . Good as new.
