    I like this style of short tutorial that concentrates on just a few basic techniques, rather than on building a large complex model.

    1 problem: When selecting the 2 lines (0 and 120 degrees) and extruding them, it extrudes z-direction. How to extrude on the yx-plane?

      Select curve > E (extrude) > F (freestyle) > drag along yx plane.
