It's not the most technical drumming, neither the fastest but damn Frost is just a mythical human. He was and still is a driving force of Black metal. I just LOVE how well it fit his music. It calls on our primal instinct.

The guy blastbeats at 300 bpm or something ridiculous like that.He's fast! This clip doesn't really show his speed.Check out some other clips.The drumsticks are a fuckin' blur 'cos he's hitting so fast.As the last guy said,this isn't the best clip to showcase his ability to play accurately at incredible speeds.

"It's not the most technical drumming..." wtf you're talking about man, his speed, beating sound, good time keeping, and use of paradiddles to play are not technical? It's not his fault that black metal is a genre that drums are not explored. Most of time is simple blast beat the whole song and even so he is capable of being creative in the most of it.
Frost and Inferno of Behemoth create drum parts that make songs sound so good. That's why those guys are amazing drummers not because of speed or technique. Besides I don't know why but Frost is favorite one of many metal girls he he good to him

To all who find this "unimpressive": check out his drumming while he's not drumming - that's mediocre at best! Or stop assuming that a drummer is showing off, playing as fast and intricate as he can, at all times. Music is more than a showcase of the drummer's utter capabilities. This is simply how the drums go in this song; were it different, the song would be different. And it is performed tightly and with precision as Frost always does.

Check his work in 1349 Hellfire :D there he is a beast, for Satyricon he is more groovy. I like Darkside from Mgla also a lot. Not crazy fast but damn complex with the cymbals. Sounds very unique like Frost. Or if you want intersting high-speed fills, Dominator ex drummer of Dark Funeral.

Anders Haave that is so true ! hellhammer is fast and good.but.since he triggers his toms also,he has stuffed them with padding ro not get doubble trigging.so he is just more easy,coz he knows the triggers will carry the sound. altho...frost triggs & use regular mices on his kicks.nothing else.
This isn't Frost at his best, relatively speaking. His hyper fast playing is where he shows the most creativity.
