Just found your channel vis the Missouri and Kansas railfan. My grandparents lived in O'Fallon, and I spent hours waiting for N&W trains in the 60s and 70s! My other grandparents lived in Ferguson, on Godfrey lane right at Ferguson Ave and Elizabeth Ave. Again, I watched trains there for hours. That grade from the creek up is the steepest out to Moberly. I would see trains stall nearly every day in the 60s and early 70s. They lived so close, the house would shake as 5 or 6 first and second generation Wabash and N&W trains would try to inch up the grade. What a show it was! I wish I would have taken alot of pictures. From the upstairs windows I could see the City of St Louis and the City of Kansas City take the passenger line down into Cool Valley where it crossed over Paul Ave. So cool to see Wentzville again. Thanks for posting, I have subbed! Every once in ahile I run my Wabash E8 on my SP layout just because it's so pretty. Regards, Scott
