Blender Workbench in FreeCAD

The 3D offset operation from FreeCAD itself failed on 3D scanned mesh I was working with. But Blender could create the 3D offset I wanted in a few moments. Because I wanted to have a parametric solution I created this workbench to have interop with Blender. It currently has 1 operation: Solidify.

The code is rough around the edges. But it might give you a kickstart in case you need something from Blender in FreeCAD too. And perhaps I will make the code as such that it is easier to add more modifiers to this workbench.
