So we are picking up our AWD 25th this weekend and we are so excited! We’ve watched all of your videos and have enjoyed learning about your/our new vehicle. One thing I am looking forward to is seeing how the black wheel caps go on because I am absolutely wanting to do this too for ours.
Thanks for the video. The imposter wheel skin is just an attachment that goes on top of the existing chrome covers as per the coasttocoast website. I've read in other comments that you've put that project on hold due to time. I'm wondering why since it should only take a few minutes. Could you please clarify?
Hey Mike, they are from coast to coast but these are actually from a highlander as the company offers only wheel covers for the 17". www.coast2coastinternational.com/impostor-wheel-skins
Hello, I live in Korea and own Siena Hybrid. I really want a 20-inch black wheel cover. Can you recommend a place to live? Toyota in Korea only has a chrome wheel cover
Interested in seeing how easy it is to take off the wheel covers and replace. Getting the same car in the darker color but really would prefer darker wheels. I really don’t understand why they have wheel covers other then it’s easier to replace them vs get new wheels
Yeah very interesting in seeing the wheel cover removal because as far as I know it’s not that easy. They’re glued on, they’re not your typical spring loaded plastic hubcaps. Maybe he’s going to take them to a pro shop to get them removed? Looking forward to a video on this mod.
@@cmeller55 I’m not sure as I’ve never owned cars with hubcaps. But I’d say no, I think most, at least that I’ve seen, are spring loaded. Actually I’d figure that gluing them is more expensive. So not sure why Toyota went this way nor why they offer these silver ones on the AWD version. Don’t think anyone likes them lol we all want to replace them.
It probably won't be easy. I'll tackle the project during warmer weather. I tried to remove it but it seems to be glued on pretty good! For now, Im afraid it'll crack and worst, these caps might not fit so i'll decide later on.
Were you ever able to replace your bright chrome wheel covers with those black ones? I'm supposed to receive a 2024 Sienna Platinum in December with those ULGY Cheapy looking chrome ones.
I messaged coast2coast and they said that their skins will not fit if you remove the chrome wheel clads. This is good news, only thing left is to test if these Highlander skins would work over the Sienna. I looked closely and they’re slightly different but who knows, they might work. Do let us know if they fit ilimit. Thanks for your channel!
Yep, the chrome covers were one of my main gripes. I've gotten past it over time. Still plan to swap them, but due to the effort involved in removing these, I simply don't have the time as of yet.
I took mine off the other day. Took me and my wife 2 hours. Not bad at all. Only needed: Heat gun Bone picks Rubber razors Adhesive remover I say go for it
It's actually for a previous generation Highlander with what I believe is similar wheel design. Crossing my fingers hoping it fits.. if not, lesson learned. However I'm hesistant to remove the caps for now. Don't want to ruin a perfectly good wheel. Need to find a way to heat up the glue and make it easier to remove and see what type of residue, if any, it leaves behind. Here is a link to the part number www.coast2coastinternational.com/toyota-highlander-2014-2019-gloss-black-impostor-wheel-skins-iwcimp410blk
@@ilimit hey ilimit, have you tried just putting them on top of the chrome covers? Or they won’t fit without removing the chrome covers? Let me know because if they can just be spring loaded on top of the OEM covers then it should be good to go. I think coast2coast says they’re designed to go on top of OEM? Also would verify if the Highlander fit the Sienna. Thanks in advance! : )
Careful on that center console tray. One day, I lost my garage door opener. Guess where I found it? It managed to get thru the hinge door "space". It was a bitch trying to get out, but I was able to. And I found more small junks besides the remote control too. Little items can creep and fall thru that door space WHILE DRIVING or while closing/opening the center console door.
Did you put on wheel skins or not? Didn’t see a link for them.
How are the black wheel covers holding up for you? would you still buy them? And if so, where?
Thanks for the reviews!!!!
Waiting to see if you have a review on dashcams that's somewhat Sienna specific..

Another topic: have you done a modification and/or installed hood lift shocks? Looking to replace the stupid prop rod.... thanks

Could you please share the wheel cover link?

Do you know how many 12v socket ( cigarettes lighter)does sienna have? I only found 1 on my 2023 Le. Thank you
only 1 in the front, below the bridge
Platinum only has one too. It's little ridiculous that they don't have one in the trunk.
black looks better than the chrome, dope!
Wish it came from factory!
@@ilimit right, too shinny for me too!
What about a dash mat? To protect the dash from UV rays 🤔

@@Guafarina is glued on wheel covers common? I’m not that up to date on cars and I’m not a car guy really but that seems so cheap to me.

I agree, its cheap for looks, but if you scratch it - a cover is cheaper to replace.. if.. you can remove it haha

I believe your 2024 will be darken instead of chrome. Fingers crossed for you
@@ilimitI just got the 2024 platinum AWD. It's chrome.
XSE is black. Plat is still chrome. I picked up my 2024 XSE today. Black rims.
Nice van. Got 22 sienna. Nice job
Thanks!
I just picked up an xse sienna fwd. I’m missing the hud display. Have you looked at after market options?
Nope we haven’t looked into a HUD alternative
What happened to the wheel covers
What do you think about those divises to make Apple CarPlay wireless?
Would you install one in your Sienna?
I probably won’t. Much prefer wired connection, doesn’t bother me. Maybe in the future

Thanks for letting us all know, MC. Unfortunately I’m going to put this project on standstill until I have more time to tackle it
So it will directly on the wheel covers that’s already on their? But the design is not the same, how would that work?
Hi i just got an Xse, the second row seat was vibrating a lot on the back just wondering if you have the same experience
Hi Halle, we haven’t experienced that as of yet. I assume your second row seats are locked in place?
have you installed the wheel covers already?
We have not yet!
What's silly is that if you remove the chrome wheel covers, the wheel is actually black... it looks so much better, but is very difficult to remove.
