Awesome! Thank you, I knew this existed but didn't know what it was called or how to do it. It is a perfect application for scarves rather than adding a single row of crochet which is usually how I've neatened up my edges in the past. Woohoo! No more. I love your videos ❤. Greetings from Canada.
I too have thought the regular i-cord edging was bulky, so usually if a pattern had that edging in the design, I just "passed" on knitting the pattern. Now I know I can make this slim i-cord edging" and be happy with the finished look. Thank you for another wonderful tutorial.
Oh, wow! Just yesterday I finished knitting an afghan in which I used an i-cord side edge. I would loved to have known about this slimmer way because I didn't like the bulk of the i-cord but liked the appearance. Thanks for all of these educational tutorials. As a fairly novice knitter, I have learned a lot from you and refer to your videos quite often.
Thank you, Peggy :-) It is one of my Facile Sweaters (I have two of them :-) and you are right - it is knitted with super soft bamboo yarn. I'm glad you like it.
Kia Ora from Nz . Merci + + et congrats pour ton travail et partage. Pour ma part je cherche desesperement une technique pour coudre des pieces qui sont deja tricotees AVEC des bordures en i cord . Si tu peux me conseiller ... merci d avance. Happy tricot dear Marina
Bonjour Odile. Tu peux utiliser un technique explique chez www.10rowsaday.com/seam-slip-stitch-edges pour coudre des pièces avec des bordures en i-cord. Happy tricot, mon amie :-)
That's a great question, Gillian. I don't see why not, but I haven't tested this idea yet. If you decide to give it a try, let me know how it worked. Thank you :-)
I'm sorry to hear the sound of the video isn't perfect on your device. I haven't had any issues when I tested the sound on multiple devices, but everyone is different with different ways to access the video so there is always a chance that something might not work well. Please try to increase the volume or turn on the captions (CC icon in the bottom right corner of the video screen). Thank you :-)
Looks both amazing while being amazingly simple to work. Your ingenuity is what is truly amazing!
Your tutorials are always so wonderfully easy to follow. And your voice is so soothing! Thank you for your wonderful videos!
Oooh, thank you so much, Joanna :-)
Thanks so much for your great tutorial! I was knitting along with you, and indeed, the edges look amazingly neat!!!
Love this stitch!
Thanks Maryna❤️

It’s like a twisted slip edge, but with an extra stitch. I will try this. Thank you
What a beautiful edge! Thank you
Just what I needed for my project. Thank you so much!
Love it !! Thank you 😊
I love the sweater you have on. The yarn is such a pretty color and looks so soft.

I like this edge. I might try using this on my next shawl.
Wow that is so great thank you

Love this, thank you...would a 2 stitch i cord bind off work with this?

Спасибо ! Все очень понятно ! Подскажите пожалуйста, как таким способом можно горловину закрыть ?
You will need to use i-cord bind off. The tutorial is at www.10rowsaday.com/icord-bindoff Happy knitting :-)
Very interesting tutorial, however the sound is very soft
Laura Sharp that’s odd. Nothing wrong with the sound on my ipad.
Thank you, Frances. It is good to know the sound works well for you and many thanks for reassuring Laura. I appreciate it a lot :-)
