I'm from Philippines but I really love morrocan food.. specially tangine and kuskos...I miss mama Malika..she make this always for us...I will try to cook that also 😍
I bought a Moroccan clay tagine recently (also used a heat diffuser) and I tried this recipe as the first test of the tagine. It was REALLY great... I made it exactly as Chef Nad suggests, but substituted big capers for green olives and cooked the chicken for about 45 minutes rather than 30 minutes. Chef Nad's recommendation for types and amounts of spices is really good. Definitely a repeat! Thank you, Chef Nad
Tagine is one of my favorite things to eat. I appreciate how you use ingredients that you like, even if some say it isn't "traditional". It looks delicious, and I will be trying this out inmy home soon. Thank you!
I have made this recipe twice now, it is sooooo good! It also freezes well. It brings back lovely memories of my trip to Morocco:) Thank you, Chef Nad!
I’ve never tried tagine cooking before. But watching this video gives me the reason to try one. Looks so heavenly. Thank you so much for sharing your chicken tagine and couscous dishes.
I have made this recipe more than 3 times and it was a hit each time, alhamdulillah. I also served my guests with jewelled rice and salad. They enjoyed the food very much. Thank you chef for sharing!
I'm trying this tonight but using a clay pot.. My Tagine is still packed some where in the house. I like that he is using his choice of spices and not trapped by a "mix" from the store. I like the OJ! Not only adds flavor but helps with tenderizing.
I was introduce this dish by a Moroccan friend & felt in love with the flavor. The lemon along with the other ingredients are perfect. I am from Peru & we are lemon lovers 🤭 Anyways, congratulation & thank you for posting your recipe. 😋
I've had chicken and couscous in Granada Spain, the flavor was all saved using the tagine. So now I'm going to download your video to put in my recipe folder.
Great recipe! Looks easy and I'm sure it tastes delicious. I love all the spices. No worries about any criticisms about authenticity. I will try making it just like this, one of these days and I'm sure it will be wonderful :)
I am craving for this chicken tagine ricipe as I like tangy food. Thanks Chef Nad for sharing and showing us how to marinate and putting all mixes of spices.God bless.
Just a second comment. I served this dish to friend who has not experienced middle Eastern cuisine. She said that "it was the best dish that she had in years..."! Thanks again, Chef Nad.
@@Hiwatt100W1 dont apologize pls, that makes me feel a bad person cause of correcting you, youre one of those good souls on the internet, god bless u friend!
Hi, new subscriber and your dish looks delicious. I’m looking to purchase a tagine. It seems yours is cast iron bottom to cook on the stove. What is the lid, cast iron or ceramic? I see one where the lid is also cast iron, so it’s not as fragile. Thanks.
I like how is passionate . The tajine looks good . But the couscous need to steam for hours in different stages and with some heand work to make it taste as should be . Is not a critic . But good job I like the video
How come you didn't use a heat diffuser with your tagine? It seemed you put it directly on heat. Please explain. They tell me my clay tagine will crack if I put directly on heat.

I never eat this recipe, but I'll try to make it at home. I like that it has preserved lemon and tomatoes (I like sour food). Thank you!
I would agree this is more an indo Moroccan recipe but it’s delicious never the less , has more punch than the traditional Moroccan one!
You make this look so tasty and straightforward to prepare. I'm going to try to make it, thank you so much.
I have made this before but not with tomatoes. Looks amazing and thank you!

Morocco is just in front of spain, not middle east.

Not if it’s the precooked kind

I think most tagines are meant for inside an oven rather than on top?
Don't you put the tagine inside the oven rather than on the hob?
..interesting take on it ..red chilli ? definately south asian
Where can I find a tagine pot like that?
This looks like Le Creuset cast iron tagine (the base is enamelled cast iron and the top is ceramic).
hey i have a course if you interesed
There is no fresh orange juice in moroccan tajine 😂😂saafaran from iran or morocco,we sont use Spanish
Spanish saffron!
Dont cook olives ,add them in the add
🤍
En español x favor
YOU MEAN THIS IS INDIAN CHIKEN , WE DO NOT USE CORIANDER AND CUMIN IN CHIKEN IN MOROCCO..SORRY DEAR IM MOROCCAN. MAYBE THIS YOUR WAY
We dont eat tajine eith couscous,we eat with salad and bread
Chef looks like Pakistani
I’m so regret wasting of 9 minutes of my time watching you chicken in the sadin 😂mean tagine 😂😂😂😂
I feel that kitchen is full of salmonella, why use hand with chicken and then splash with finger and with hand full of chicken juice hold spoon.
