- Thieves stole a cash machine from an Alameda market after smashing a car through the entrance. A witness said the ATM was found at a nearby encampment.

They've done this with ATMs & cars. Victims give them to law enforcement. Cops either "are not allowed to use them." Or say, "Okay, they're in Oakland where we have no jurisdiction."

Every time I went to Alemeda, my girlfriend always drove us there and I live 10 minutes away. I visit once every 3 years. That's how my generation of people I grew up in Oakland with are afraid of Alameda. It is great dinning city. But to commit crimes, I don't know about that. In the old days Alameda belonged to the U.S. Navy. It was a docking station where the USS Enterprise resides. If only we can have our Military bases back. Army, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard. It would definitely help out on the crime. NY called out the Army National Guards. The bay area needs help too.

There doesn't need to be a cash machine in a Quick Mart they should only be inside a bank. This puts people in danger the greed of the owner of the store to put such machine in the store in the first place. All of these cash machines to be full of Confederate money and no one's card at all work in them and finally when a thief steals the damn thing they've got nothing. Then when word gets around every cash machine and every one of these convenience stores is bogus and full of Confederate money it wouldn't happen anymore. But as long as the greed of the owner of the store it's there for a reason to make them some ill-gotten profit, it puts the public in danger.
