If you practice everyday you get better. It's easier to do if you have a couple people to practice with too. It encourages you to try harder, and when you lay down a good/funny line and you get laughs it encourages you even more and then you get in the zone. You have to stay sharp though. A couple years ago I used to be able to rap continuously over any song, but I haven't done it in so long and I suck now.
