    Biodegradable doesn't necessarily mean compostable, it might be that the filament just biologically degrades leaving microplastics in the soil.

    I wonder if it would be possible to print the first four or five layers or so and then turn off the bed heat and go from there. Would it still stick?

      I'm using a Cryogrip BIQU cold plate, and yes you can turn off the bed heat completely after the first layer and it will continue sticking

      Yeah, I suppose that's not something to make a joke about.
      Not that the cold hasn't had it's share of fatalities either. Gotta laugh or you'll cry.
