there’s a few client side mods that do this, most clients like badlion or lunar have it but you can get it yourself if you look up something like armor display mod

Always keep your elytra and chestplate in your hot bar so you can easily equip them and know what you are wearing
And also keep Golden apples and and god apples in your hotbar
