Happy New Year, Susan! 🎉Love the Craftsman style home. Charming features! I think the brick house could be a lovely home with a little finishing work, but it's market history makes me pause. Interesting website you shared. Thanks!
Greetings from Mena AR. My husband and I moved to Mena from MN in 2019. I heard you mention something about getting a home inspection, but I didn't remember us getting one for our home. So when I asked my husband, he said something about since we paid cash it wasn't required like if we were getting a loan. But when we sold our home in MN, we had enough left over to pay cash for our home which is a 1475 one level little brick home. So I love the fact that our property taxes went from $2,400 to $650., and that there is hardly no snow. But the bugs, oh there terrible and I can't stand them. Especially the fire ants.
I'm a born and raised 50+ year Floridian. I bought a house in Arkansas in 2022. No regrets. It is the opposite of Florida here. It rains all winter, and it's dry all summer. The weather is colder in the winter, but not cold enough for snow usually. The house I bought here would have been $700k in Florida. I'm living on just shy of an acre, all brick home with a guest house out back. The main house is about 2000 sq ft under air, 2400 sw ft under truss. Two sides of wrap around porch. It's quiet here, and people leave me alone. My patch of paradise sits about 600 feet up a mountainside with nice views. Do I miss my home, my people, my family in Florida? Yes, I do. I didn't say I wouldn't rather be back home, but I have a feeling I'll end up back in Florida as things correct, and it is correcting. I'll keep this place here and go live back home.

You're Welcome. Cheers to a Great Year!🎉🏡
The prices are right, but I'm a lifelong resident of S. FL. It would take forever for me to adapt to that climate. 🌴
Thank you
