Ex R.E.M.E gun fitter here. Love reminiscing while watching the boys in action. The 105mm Light Gun is a fantastic piece of kit. Hell I trained on it during my army apprenticeship in 1990 & went on to serve with 29 Commando. Can we have a video of the next time you fire with super-charge & base-bleed rounds 😍

Never been so happy to see Larkhill then at the end of a 10 mile tab over Salisbury plain 🤗🙏. The smell of cordite during the first crap 💩 after live firing 😆. UBIQUE 🥃
Recognised the area - Blackball Firs? Guns driving through the Bustard VCP, back to the lines, wash down, clean gun, knock off. We in 176 Bty used to do the same, sometimes with TTBR 06:00 hrs in summer, rounds on the ground. Great days!
Looks fucking wank to be honest, I failed my fitness for the infantry and the artillery is what was offered to me or I’d have to wait 3 months so unfortunately to get away from this life artillery is my only option. Genuinely looks fucking wank
