So far, Vinfast / Vingroup has had an unenviable record or failing in all the tech-related businesses they managed to get their paws on..from assembling petrol cars, smartphones to running a chain of supermarkets and medicals....You name it they fail in it. Vinfast had to stop selling petrol cars after 3 years of operation because consumers in Viet Nam are weary of their cars of being over-promised and under-delivered. Based on their business records, it's highly likely that they will close before the promised ten-year warranty runs out. After 8 years or more than 100K miles, EV battery degradation to below 70%, leads to the battery significantly losing its power. @@pip5461 , Marketing only gets you that far. In the end, it takes a whole lot more to succeed. In Viet Nam, consumers are already steering clear from anything associated with Vin. People who believed them and bought their petrol cars are now swearing. They stop assembling petrol cars after 3 years. Thank you so much for introducing Vietnam's brand to friends around the world. Vietnam is recovering very quickly from the war and we are trying harder to make our country more and more developed. Thank you a gain!
Never heard of this brand, but the cars look pretty nice. They did a good job at having them look "normal" while being electric. I hate these electric cars that look super weird and not even aesthetically pleasing.
I agree!! This has been my main issue comparing all the new EVs coming out. Even tho I liked the tech, the interior/exterior has been so under whelming for me. But these are absolutely gorgeous inside and out and they are launching a FULL SIZE SUV with 3rd row option first!!! With all the other Full Size ICE SUVs out there I'm shocked other mfg are NOT providing this as an option. I think this is a very SMART move in VinFast part.
Apart from the shiny shell, it lacks everything and can't move. There is nothing else to show for except a lot of hypes by spending an insane amount on advertising.
I really appreciate your review. This is the first car brand from Vietnam, and we - the Vietnamese - are very proud of this appearance. It is Vinfast's honor to appear on your channel. Hope you review the official commercial version in the future
@@trongnghialifecoach , Vinfast is just a start-up, it only came to operation about 3 years ago and made a loss year in year out. When Tesla, Lucid, Rivian, Ford introduced their cars to the public, their cars can move and they are able to demonstrate their tech to the consumers. Meanwhile, Vinfast just can't.
@@ongmat4439 Firstly, the reason why VinFast decided to discontinue ICE cars is simple, because they want to head start during the era that even long time ICE vehicle manufacturers transistion to BEV. Secondly, VinFast can't prove everything? Hey, I saw the first VF e34 models shipped in Vietnamese domestic market is waving for you. At least they have been shipped, the domestic press has tested it and is ready to be delivered to customers who pre-order them. Many comments make me think of people who support NOKIA instead of using Samsung and Apple. But the difference here is that even if you disparage EVs, your president will ban it from 2030-2040, the police will make you pay a fine if you do it intentionally. Be more adaptive and receptive for future mobility in a clean and green environment.
I hope the company's ES battery factory will soon release products, with VinFast's service policy that can run public services, that's great. In Vietnam, I am thinking of getting a VFe34 to drive a taxi because my house has a solar battery with excess electricity
Best of luck to them of course but production is very hard, especially when you're launching so many models at the same time. Hopefully they'll manage.
I guess California is the testing ground. Would be a pain to ship the vehicle from Florida to California for service, either that or you will have to fly 3 guys (Engineer, Techincian, Service manager) to come to your place. Guarantee something will break or not working right, no pun intended, happens to all new products.

They have been selling combusting engine cars for quite some time, those cars are pretty successful and great looking here in Vietnam. They are all out moving to the EV side from now on, I tell you at night you can immediately recognize the car's brand by the V headlight and rear light, they just stand out compared to other cars.
TOGG and VinFast are twin brothers - By Pininfarina -
Electric car VF e34 in Vietnam has a very positive comment from users. The price is competitive with gas cars. The real range on the highway achieved more than 80% of the informed number.

Vinfast are putting a shitload of money to hire, and promote their brand and expand, good for Tim, but we saw this before, hope they will succeed
True, but a little too pricey for an unknown startup.
@@pip5461 , Marketing only gets you that far. In the end, it takes a whole lot more to succeed.
In Viet Nam, consumers are already steering clear from anything associated with Vin. They set up Vinmsart to assemble smartphones and lasted only 2 years. They also had to sell the chain of supermarkets after more than 3 years.
People who believed them and bought their petrol cars are now swearing. They stop assembling petrol cars after 3 years.
They are making loss year after year since beginning and attempting to pull off a quick one in EVs by IPO in the US to get quick cash from the uninformed investors.
The only area of business where they make a profit is real estate. The owner is one of the offspring of the high-rank communist official and they have the political backup. With this kind of power in Viet Nam, you can make a lot of profit in the real estate sector by land re-zoning in the name of "development".
@@ongmat4439 please shut your mouth, if u dont know anythings. Did u know that xiaomi has never been profitable in the mid-range phones? Vin was like them, so they stopped production to focus on something else. u say " They also had to sell the chain of supermarkets after more than 3 years", but do u know they grand opened 9 supermarkets in 2014, and then the chain of convenience stores"Vinmart", "Vinmart+". They stop assembling gasoline cars because what they were aiming for was electric cars. Although they stop producing gasoline cars, their after-sales service will still be guaranteed. I agree with you that they lost a lot, but they have the trust of the Vietnamese people. They sell good quality products that are cheaper than other products, so losses are inevitable. I think they come to the US just to promote and create a name for their products, because with such prices and promotions, the profit for a car sold is not much. So we are proud of Vingroup, unlike u who use Vietnamese names
that Vf9 is definitely awesome
Whenever I'm on a British motorway I always see many different makes and models of cars, but I'd like to see one of these in person

Vinfast cars are so impression. Specially everything from design , technology, price....

Vinfast is just a start-up, it only came to operation about 3 years ago and made a loss year in year out.
Vinfast started with assembling petrol cars, now they stopped it and ventured into EVs with a hope of getting quick cash by IPO in the US.
Vinfast cars on display can't even move on the road. There is nothing to show for except a shiny shell.

At least they have been shipped, the domestic press has tested it and is ready to be delivered to customers who pre-order them.

Many comments make me think of people who support NOKIA instead of using Samsung and Apple. But the difference here is that even if you disparage EVs, your president will ban it from 2030-2040, the police will make you pay a fine if you do it intentionally.
