Wish I knew you two years ago when I started to make wreaths and NO ONE was telling you where to put the pipe cleaners. I asked and no one answered me. It was infuriating. No one does it better than you, with such clarity from beginning to end. Between the spacing and the different ruffle designs anyone can be successful making beautiful wreaths! What a God send you are. Thank you so much. This video is a keeper!
@Gizmo I understand. I got no help either. I watch his video from Christmas and was able to make my first wreath! I don’t know what it is, but I find the wreath community isn’t very helpful (or friendly). I hope we can change that.

Love the tutorial videos. You explain everything easily. You have some ideas & tips i haven't seen other wreath maker videos do. It sounds like your from Canada when i hear you mention Canadian Tire & Dollarama. I've seen those 2 places there when visiting Ontario.

Love your videos. My mom is a seamstress . The finished edges of the mesh are called the selvage. The "good" side is the outside or, yes, the finished side. The other side is the inside. I hope that doesn't sound snooty, I definitely don't mean it that way. Looking forward to move videos!

I love your videos and how you explain each of the wreaths. I just cut Dollar Tree mesh to make a curly wreath and it seems to be fraying a lot! Is there a mesh that you recommend? Thank you!
Hi there, all deco mesh tends to fray a bit. The Dollar Tree mesh does fray A LOT, I will admit that. I tend to use higher priced mesh from Michael's or a reputable wreath supplier. Poly burlap mesh is my favourite to work with and has less fraying than most. Also, a burning tool (wood burner) works very well to seal the mesh as you cut it with the tool. Hope that helps a bit for you.
Love your videos on all the wreaths, can I ask advice please, I have 8” rings and 6” wide mesh, how big should I cut the mesh and how many would you say I’d need please.? I’m doing them for centrepieces for a charity event..
Hi Audrey, I did a little 8" centre piece with deco mesh. I used the curly method. It was a while ago that I did the video, but I believe I cut them mesh at 6"-7" lengths and then bundled them together to make the ring around a glass vase to make the centre piece. Hi Dave, I am sending this message on your current video hoping you can help. I am working on the heart wreath with the red burlap you showed. Seems easy but I am not keeping the material tight on the back and some of my ruffles come out. Make sense? Hope you can suggest what I am doing wrong. Thanks again Mary
Hi Marvin. I know the wreath you are talking about. The key is to keep the ruffles tight and to pull on them once you have them in place. That should allow them to stop coming apart. If you're having issues still, then you can always cut out a piece of foamboard and glue it to the back to keep everything in place. Or use a cable tie to tie the ruffles in place. Does that make sense? Hopefully it works out for you. Take care and thank you. 🙂

Hi Shannen. Thank you so much. You could totally do that and make it look beautiful. We all can, it's easy and fun to do. 😊 There are some videos out there that show you how I attach ribbon onto my wreaths. The latest one is a black and white Valentine's Day wreath.
