And the fact that you have to combine the milk and the coffee together yourself makes it even more so of a robbery. For this price it should combine the milk together for you.

Nespresso machines are a scam. The coffee never comes out hot enough and it tastes like ass. An inexpensive espresso machine can do way better than a top tier Nespresso.
I like my vertuo machine. I warm the milk in the microwave so it is actually hot enough when combined. Then I froth it with the tiny wand I bought separately. Just refilled my used pods with pike place, sealed with the stickers from Amazon. Some of their espressos in the sample box were nice and strong. Better than a Kuereg! Don’t be so negative.
I have three of these - one in NZ, one in SF and one in Paris 😅 :D theyre simple, very easy to use, and not a lot of hassle, if any. Of course, if you want a proper machine go out and buy something grand. But if you want to have a quick, hassle free flat white, that tastes decent - then this is perfect. I love it.
I'm a coffee snob with a La Pavoni Europiccola, a Breville Bambino Plus, Niche Zero grinder and E61 group machine... and yes, a Nespresso Creatista Pro!
Nope my parents have this machine and it tastes the same as my machine which is the cheapest in the nespresso lineup. Having the drinks pre-programmed and the steam wand right there is pretty nice though. Not $800 nice but nice.
All original line Nespresso machines make the same basic ”espresssos”/lungos. The more expensive original line models have milk frothers built in and their own little features. There will also be differences in the quality of the milk froth depending on which model it is.
I honestly feel tempted to get one just because of the latte art, if you have a moka porta you can buy a milk frother/warmer for the milk and would do the same for cheaper
Pretty sure the breville and delonghi nespresso machines all come from the same factory, any box I've ever seen of either says made in the Ukraine 😂 creatista pro is an amazing pod machine though, gives you lots of room for movement on temptretures etc has the same milk wand as the breville bambino plus and breville barista touch. Touch control works well and is handy that the screen is angled down rather than flat like the model before it
@AR.Khosravi Their situation is pretty unique because they clearly have enough money to blow through coffee gear like nobody's business. In any other situation, I can't imagine anyone willing to spend $800+ on an espresso setup and unwilling to learn how to pull a shot. Besides, the niche is the workflow king. Not really much to do with that setup.
@bm-br3go When it comes to ladies, it's a different story buddy! No matter what's on your coffee bar! Their situation is not that much unique though. That's the result of being RUclips influencer. There are lots of coffee hobbies out there with higher end commercial stuff, who are not well known.
Breville sucks. I bought their most expensive home machine and it broke down. We are neat freaks and cleaned it exactly per instructions with the recommended cleaners and Breville tried to say it was “our fault,” bc of the buildup in the inner pipes. Unfortunately for them, I’m a lawyer & proved the time frames of the cleaners we bought, demanded the tech readings-… so they gave us our money back and a new machine which we sold and bought a Jura. What these companies don’t tell u is that u need good quality beans, a good water filtration system & u will spend a lot of money on the cleaning products. Esp with Juras. The cleaning stuff cost abt 30-40 a month.
I don’t mind the price if it is of good quality but the reviews said it breaks down quite often and most of them are faulty. What is your experience so far?
A nespresso machine has nothing to do with espresso. Whatever nespresso device you buy it’s basically all the same. Put the cup in and push water to it. For 100 or 800.,-
I had this machine. Nespresso pods became too expensive. I drink a fair bit of coffee. Tried a variety of compatible pods but they were all weak and insipid - even the Lavazza ones. Loved the cappuccino’s I made with Nespresso pods but wanted to be able to steam my own milk and choose my own coffee. Bought the Delonghi Stilosa and I am thrilled with it. Costs way less and produces a coffee shop type drink. Yes - it’s more effort to use but I’m a control freak and love being able to tweak the variables to my taste.
You're so cute with her! My go would be a Delonghi ECP or stilosa, Gaggia viva (less than 200 usd/EU made for ese pods (Easy Serving Espresso) pod is a small packed coffee pod with a paper filter covering with a lot of different bands and Specialty Coffee of . Or a full Auto machine surch Delonghi magnifica (less than 400usd) or Gaggia Cadorna , of a Jura E6 (less expensive with "milk function"
Nespresso Lattissma pro is cheaper and has a detachable milk reservoir that makes foam without a messy wand that you have to clean each time. If you want to spend $700-1k there are Panasonic models that have burr grinders and do the same thing but with bean coffee so you do to have to deal with expensive pods (that also has aluminum that may pose health risks).
At that point, it might even be easier to get an actual all-in-one machine that grinds it's own coffee.. You don't have to put in the capsules every time, you just have to clean the grinds once in a while..
I got the Creatista (not pro) for my wife as she refused to learn how to use my espresso machine. I’m a bit disappointed, not at the coffee/ coffee drinks but a the quality of the machine itself. It leaked a bit from day one and after 3 years it barely works as the leaks are getting really bad. I looked into repairing it and it would cost hundreds of dollars. Not what I was expecting from a $600 Nespresso machine. When I replace it, it will be with a super automatic espresso machine.
I'm exactly like your girlfriend I had a big machine too but as intimidated by it so I hardly used it. So I ended up selling it and ordered myself the cafe latte robot and I love it it's far easier to use😅
I used to have the Creatista and greatly regret wasting my money on it to have something shiny sitting in my kitchen and “convenient” to make “espresso” in.. owned it for a year and sold it way below what I paid for it bc the value of these machines are decreasing as folks start learning to make proper espresso at home. The pods are gross compared to real espresso. Auto frother.. doesn’t froth milk correctly lol. I didn’t know as much about making coffee as I do now so I really thought I made a good investment..
What 800 for a capsule coffee machine? This must be am ad because for the same money you get a Saeco Xelsis Deluxe or similar which use whole beans and can make you any coffee you can wish for with a tap on the touchscreen.
It’s cool but it bothers me that you are putting boiling water through plastic! It feels like those toxins and chemicals are going into your drink. If you compare that to the traditional way Italians make espresso, there is no comparison for health.
Breville got clooneyd, who the heck would spend 800$ for a simple Nespresso machine when it does have the same plain features for 150$. I would rather consider a good full automatic machine in that price range that makes even better coffee then the overpriced Nespresso crap.

- dependent on pods

By sure Eco boxes and "recyclable". As all from Nespresso- worthless but recyclable...

Not really the expensive printers are better
Inkjet prints have some advantages over laser depending on what your intent is. It's not at all equivalent to pods vs real fresh coffee.
For fine art and quality in general, inkjet is a better option than laser

Old over-roasted coffee grounds are gonna taste mostly the same regardless. I'm sure the milk's much better than nespresso's frother though.
