Ma'am you are one of the anchors who is concerned about mental health. It's my observation, i love your psychological approach while interviewing human beings.
Be aware of yourself. I had almost all symptoms of depression but I had literally no idea about what iam going though. I suffered for 2 years when I was in school and I was dead inside.i was about to die and nobody noticed anything. So if nobody is arround you to share understand yourself and seek clinical help.. thank you so much for taking this subject ❤❤
This is a good initiative Dhanya. One of the least talked about part is also about Narcissistic Abuse and trauma relating to that whether it’s Malignant, Covert, Vulnerable or Grandiose etc. It would be really good if you come across someone well versed in this as well.
She is a psychologist, she knows this because she is educated on it and as someone who graduated from Google Medical College would have a lot to say in this comment section.
Was just a 16 year old when i was struggling and my parents believed this doctor could help me, depression ipo almost ellarkm ariyam, (thanks to influencer culture) ithenthan enn polm ariyathe samayath, my parents were really confused, but this doctor didn't clearly acknowledge anything and passesd me on to psychiatrist to prescribe me medications, i started to sleep off almost 10 hrs after taking those. Had to stop those later with suggestion of my friend's father who was a doctor. Now being a medical graduate, i know that prescribing medication only is not the first line treatment. Other treatment option like therapy exist. I only had milder form i believe. So, guys choosing a good psychologist is the first step for treating your mental health problems. This was almost 9 years back. Just a personal experience. Dont know how it is now. This comment is not to bash anyone. Period.
Depression, trauma become common term among those people who think themselves that they care about memtal health but no exact awrness regarding the same. This is my experience when I noticed. So, these types of interviews are important.
It's crucial to monitor your negative thoughts when you're feeling down. Often, it's not the situation itself that harms us, but rather the thoughts we have. Recognize any negative thinking patterns and begin addressing them with the support of a professional.
So glad that you are bringing in such healthy discussions by professionals. When we talk about mental we always hear from psychiatrists and psychologists. There is yet another important profession called Psychiatric Social work. It could be great if you can bring in their perspectives too. They can tell us about the social aspects and intervention possible in mental health.. best wishes for all your ventures❤
Hello, ma'am. I'm a huge fan of your interviews, and I appreciate your respectful behaviour towards your guests. I wish you continued success and hope you'll keep conducting interviews with the same professionalism and courtesy. Keep up the great work, ma'am❤️ And I hv a humble request... Could you please create a section focused on mental health and wellness, specifically addressing the emotional pain caused by friendship breakups and attachment issues? Because friendships can bring immense joy, but their breakdown can leave us feeling lost and devastated. I understand u hv already done the sections based on mental health. But this topic is affecting many people, and I believe your guidance could be incredibly helpful. Everyone has unique mental strengths and perspectives. Also include the habits that can help calm the mind and overcome this difficult situation. I appreciate the wonderful work you've done on mental health topics, and I think this specific section would be invaluable.
Such an excellent discussion! 👏👏Understanding depression and how it affects people is very important. As I’m just starting my career, it’s so helpful to learn from such a knowledgeable person like Zaileshia Ma'am. I’m truly glad to have the opportunity to work under her guidance and learn from her.
Dhanya mam, thank you for addressing such crucial topics about mental health in your interviews which are truly the need of the hour. Just a thought i am sharing along with this, i would say movies like kumbalangi nights deserves praise for showcasing vulnerability with a poweful scene where the character saji openly asks for help, highlighting the importance of mental awareness and the need to ask or get help from others when its high time. From my opinion, that scene breaks the stereotype of invincible leading roles, showing true strength in seeking support. Its a bold effort from the film makers and actor to normalize such conversations in mainstream cinema. The portrayal encourages audience to embrace vulnerability as a natural part of being human.
I have been following meeting personally these celebrated people. She is very costly infact will slot our necks to get help.Medical science is for the benefit of people . Yes u can charge but the price is extremely higher than aster medicity. Literally kazhutharapp
Phsycologist's appointments are too expensive from 800 to 2000 rupees per session. Normally we will need to take multiple sessions for any kind of issues. That makes it less affordable to the public and which is very sad. Free or affordable way to get access to them should be ensured by government through taluk hospitals.
Please allow me to interfere... The clinical psychologist is a person who studies the subject of psychology for 5 to 7 years. As of talking about a psychiatrist they go in detail about the subject in their masters for 2 years, but it is a fact that as they are doctors they can prescribe medicines as part of the treatment. Most of the medicines of psychological illnesses which have side effects and can make the person dependent upon the medicine for a long time. This is where therapy comes into play, a clinical psychologist handles the sessions of various kinds of therapy which can be from 10 to 16 sessions (variations can occur as per person) where they get to know the person in depth, enough to help them to resolve their inner conflict or to understand themselves better. If not too severe to depend upon a medicine which would eventually make you rely upon it, it's always advisable to take therapy or both therapy and medicine can go hand in hand as per the severity. Just wanted to conclude that both psychologist and psychiatrist play important role in the area of mental health. What works for each person can depend upon individual's perspectives and experience. 😊
@@Anju-e8z2y it is good to have job descriptions and roles and responsibilities clearly defined for both Psychiatrist and Psychologist and publish.... because the common people often get confused ...I have experienced consulting and clinical psychologists for child with learning disabilities, the process followed by clinical psychologists and Psychiatrist is totally different...and now if the psychiatrist recommends me to consult a psychologist I will consult.. otherwise psychiatrist is my first choice. However irrespective of the qualification " if no empathy then no point for both
There needs to be a policy change from the govt for effective penetrative awareness among common public. Elderly population has the most stigma and is least aware even if we open up to family. Great talk by the way.
I don't know who she is. But she might be psychologist or whatever. May have done studies, researchs or may have read some books and she's saying this. And that's why she's here with this episode. But I'm not able to understand the mentality of malayalies commenting she's wrong with damn confidence that too may just based on some Google searches.

What happens when pscylgists treat pple who approach them for help ... in a rude manner with their gaslighting techniques and negative coping strategies when a person is already hurt ? The person ends up in a much worse condition brutally traumatized than they first came with even serious health problems let alone with the mental health issues they already had...? Lovely discussion. Informative. But in my experience seeking psychologist help is an expensive affair. A one hour session is charged 1000 to 2500 Rs.
There are goverment hospitals😊
Think about the price of dresses you've bought... 1000/ for a session is Worth rather tham buying a dress...😊
