This particular bracelet was made out of 14K rose gold, and measured around 9.25-inches long and 13 mm in thickness. The final weight of the chain was 121 grams. In this video, you'll see some very cinematic close-ups of the chain making process, with amazing ASMR-type sounds associated with the manufacturing process.
Main steps to making the Miami Cuban link bracelet (see below):
00:00 Gathering the gold to make the chain.
00:12 Melting the 14K gold alloy to make a bar.
00:48 Stretching the gold bar through rolling presses and annealing it to form the correct gauge wire.
01:48 Forming the copper rod necessary to roll the gold wire to make the links of the bracelet.
02:37 Cutting through the gold coil to form the individual links.
02:51 Connecting the loose links and soldering them together.
03:57 Twisting chain to align links before the filing process begins.
04:31 Gluing the chain down using Shelac resin in order to file the links down for the characteristic flat Miami Cuban link look.
06:08 Making the box clasp and welding it to the bracelet.
08:57 Polishing and cleaning the chain.
10:20 The finished Cuban bracelet. Mr. CRM models it for us!
What is the thickest or heaviest Cuban bracelet you'd ever wear and would it be in yellow or rose gold?

Amazing production. No fluff.
I never get sick of watching this process! Makes me appreciate all the hard work that went into making mine 😎
Thanks man. It's a lot of work indeed.
Who do you think makes them better Rey’s or Crm??
I’m still waiting on my 10mm 8.5 in 14k bracelet from Rey’s it should be ready next week. Wondering if should get my necklace from Crm or keep it matching and get it done with Rey?
Come get it from us, so that we can film it on CRM Life 😉
Idk man 😏 Rey’s does some beautiful tights links, I do like yours as well but I’m gonna have to think about it. Your prices are a bit better I’ll tell you that. And if I do decide to do it with you guys you guys better make a video on it 😜
So cool! I could watch this all day!
Process is Above and beyond, pure art & Amazing episode as always, much love CRM family
Thank you so much Saeed. Really appreciate your support.
Honestly, the lock building was the most impressive part. Just raw material turned into a lock. That’s talent.
Bravo to the video editors, I’ve watched a noticeable increase in the quality. Great decision to not add music, feels focused and authentic.
Excellent work by the jewelers also, piece looks amazing, client will be happy.
Thank you Frank. Yeah, there are two sides of the fence when it comes to music on process or ASMR videos. This time, we went with the musicless option.
Carlos, That is a true complement to the watch! AWESOME......
That's solid ladies and gentlemen, not hollow.
Yup, it's solid. We don't make hollow Cuban link chains.
I can't get enough of these artistic videos. Keep it up!
Thank you for watching and supporting us.
Great video💜💪🏼
Thank you!
I’m always impressed with the level of craftsmanship that goes into making a Cuban. From start to finish the quality of this video was superb! It’s like a work of art coming to life. I’m sure this client will be very happy when they receive it. Nice work CRM!
Thank you Richard. The client was very happy indeed. 🙏
Love all your videos
Thank you so much Rob!
Fantastic video, awesome to watch a chain being made from the first step to the last. Agree with a lot of comments here , videos getting very polished lately !! Volunteer cleaner here if needed :) much love from London x
Ha Ha. Thank you my friend for your words of encouragement.
@@Crmjewelers what's your smallest mm handmade Cuban link chain?
The smallest width that we sell handmade is 8mm and the lightest around 100 grams. We sell micros too, but they are machine made.
@@Crmjewelers Thank you
ASMR for sure that was awesome, what master craftmanship
Thank you Mike. This is the first time we make one of these Cuban link videos without music. I'm glad you liked it.
Love the videos would def like some audio commentary explaining processes or specific thing to notice or doing thru vid love crm
It truly is amazing work of art. Thank you for sharing the process.😎🇦🇺😎
Thank you for watching Sandra 👍
With all respect to the channel editor. Anyway possible to get the long version versus the highlights. Dropping both won't hurt. Call it RUclips TV👈 version. 😄 Cable TV is obsolete.
I hear you man, but the entire process is multiple hours of footage. It's really difficult to record all of that, store it, and it doesn't tend to perform well on RUclips. We need to strike a balance when we upload these chain making videos.
I will never forget seeing that for the first time. Incredible.
👍👍
AWESOMENESS 👌
👍👍
Shout out from New York City Bracelet is fire 🔥 love to see the workmanship of a real jeweler putting this master piece together true work of Art to say the lease great job showing this video🔥🔥🔥💪💪
Thank you so much man! 🙇
I made my first cuban link today, watching this gave me alot of insight into the tools that the big guys use, you guys definitely prove that you earned it though! Great video, very well edited and it gives me a little inspiration to record my future videos more carefully!
Awesome man. Go for it! 😉👍
@@JOEJOSEPHHones I tried self teaching jewelry making and it's way less of a headache if you find a jeweler in your city that you can give a call or go see whenever you have questions. Reach out to people, the community is mostly nice and not as competitive as it used to be so don't be shy!
What are the names of the tools in the video ?
And then some diamonds :) looks cool on you.
Thanks Kim!
Gold chains are my favorite thing to wear
👍👍
Love these videos from CRM makings! What other metal components do you mix for those chains less than 24k? I’m allergic to nickel.
Great video! I really enjoy watching the process on the
Jewelry side. #crm
Thank you for watching Kyle.
@@Crmjewelers y’all are the best . Keep up the amazing work and great content . #crm
Amazing , to make something so beautiful the process is so primitive . ❤️
Indeed Jose. Thank you for watching!
Old school no gloves polishing! Beautiful workmanship.
Thank you John. Old school for real!
Great video! Im also very curious as to why the back side of the bracelet is different? The face seems more round as the back is flat, Please explain
AWESOME VIDEO! Where can I find an oval copper rod for crafting these links? Are there any stores you know of that sell them, or is it something that needs to be custom-made?
Nice
Love to try my hand at this and see where it takes me.
Nice video
I would like a chain like this one day
Great Video. How long is the whole process, beginning to end ?
Thank you Andy. It can take usually between 8 to 12 hours to make the chain.
Great video, what size Is it 9mm? How much would that one cost?
I love your videos. your fan from Brazil. what alloy do you use to make gold 14?Do you have a job to work there?😅
No job openings for this, unfortunately. It's mainly copper, zinc, etc.
Love it …pure craftsmanship an art that needs to be passed on👍
Thank you Stephen!
How do you make the copper rod for winding the coil? And what mm is the wire you used for the links?
I’m wondering how I can find those oval copper rods 😅
Next time you go buy a gold chain when they tell you the price don't complain. Appreciate the work. Nice video.
🙏
Very nice. Was that a 5980 on the other hand?
Good eye, close. It was a Patek Philippe 5711.
Whats the power tool they use to cut the links?
Meditative
In Suriname we prefer 18k and up more, because 14k gets the copper red very quick!
In certain countries 18k is the standard. In the United States, 14k gold is the most commonly used for jewelry.
This art by no means can anyone dispute that
Thank you Teddy. Glad you think so!
How do i get this colour in 18k ?
What the millimeters on the bracelet?
The thickness of the bracelet is approximately 13 mm.
How Much for a 12” chain
What length , width, and weight of that bracelet?
Please see the description. All the information is there.
Oh geez I’m sorry! I missed that! 🙏
May I know how many mm width of the bracelet
I wanna see how they make a big pendant can u please post kt
This is a 14 karat chain.
@@Crmjewelers plizz post the pendant that u make
Length weight?
Everything is in the description. 👍
@@Crmjewelers I missed it. Good day. 😄
How long does it actually take
The entire process takes anywhere between 8-12 hours.
Ty
What is the name of the tools used in this video?
Make a platinum one. Literally, no one has them since they are practically impossible to make. But CRM should!!
Vitor tor Porto
👍👍✌✌🤠🇵🇹👑🇺🇸🤳
👍👍
Is this in Rose Gold
Price
Wait so this bracelet is gold plated? Can’t you just use gold or does all jewellery have copper
Gold plated? Did you watch the video?
A dying breed. Maybe this video will spark the interest of some younger guys and inspire them to the trade.
Agree 100% Mike. 🙏
Still looking for 18k Fishbone and a ruby pinky ring
😢Netherlands is so anti swag...
Cool process and a really nice looking bracelet, only to be ruined by one ugly looking clasp.
That's the most common box clasp that clients want. We are working on a 2-kilo chain project that has a beautiful clasp with our logo on it and small diamonds. The problem is that the latter increases the price of the chain and a lot of people don't want to pay that.
Is he cuban? 🇨🇺
I kept waiting for a gold finished. MOST DISSAPOINTED.😔
