    Hi, thank you so much for that kind of content. I am preparing for computer-based FCE exam and to type with accurate spelling is crucial for writing part of the exam. It is quite rare type of videos on RUclips - dictations. Luckily I found your channel. Thank you!

    My first language is french and I just realised own much easier it is to write in english without making mistakes. French is so hard, it's almost impossible to write a dictation whithout making mistakes

    The question here is to know if we have to go for explanation of the word that we don’t know or the word how is not familiarly to us or just keep going over over the dictation. Thanks so much is so helpful your video

      I think I would finish the dictation, and the afterwards look for the meanings of any new words.

    Embrace small talk! small talks is taboo to some people an while is not the most fulfilling type of conversation, it is both functional and necessary. Small talk its what leads the way to deeper conversation, much in the same way that a car must gradually accelerates to a certain speed rather than hitting 60 miles an hour instantaneously

    Hi, good job! I don't if it hapens to other people, but in my case I can't write as fast as needed. It's just a sugestion but maybe you can follow someone writing while you do the videos. This way you will match the ecxatily speed. Thanks in advance.

      Thanks so much for your comment. I will try to go a little slower so you can finish your writing; on the other hand, the video you were watching was advanced. Did you try the intermediate level videos? Please keeping sending your feedback.

    Sorry for my dumb question... But what does "Embrace small talk!" refer to? I can't really understand the meaning of that sentence...

    • @learnenglishwithblaine9604
      @learnenglishwithblaine9604  Год назад +2

      Not a dumb question at all, Mateo. Small means talking about unimportant things like the weather or sports. Religion and politics are not small talk topics. Learning to embrace small talk means to learn to have conversations about everyday topics like weather, sports, family or plans for the weekend. Making small talk with people while waiting for the bus or while inline at the store is a great way to improve your skills. I hope that helps! Thank you for that great question! Let me know if you have anymore questions. 😀

      @@learnenglishwithblaine9604 Thank you, Blaine!!! I really appreciate that you took your time to answer my question. Yesterday I used this dictation as a good exercise to improve my English listening skills (I'm Spanish), and I will continue doing that with the rest of the dictations you've uploaded 😊

      Hello Fabio. Don't be discouraged. It is not important that you get all the words, as long as you get most of them. The video that you are looking at here is very long and advanced. These I make beginner, intermediate and advanced videos.
