    • @TeacherSally
      @TeacherSally  4 года назад

      @@natalyhidalgo1367 The speaking sections are hard. It's hard to think that fast! I think there are a couple of options for boosting the score. You could work on a section that's not your best but not your worst. My thought is that if you're already fairly good at it, then it may be easier to boost up a bit. The other option is to pick one of your weaker skills to focus the most effort on. Good luck! I know you can do it!!

    How many questions are in the listening? How much time we have for writing the answer of listening question? How I write the answer like this, I didn't receive the message in time (but I listen sentence in this form), or, I did not receive the message in time.

    • @TeacherSally
      @TeacherSally  4 года назад

      As far as how many questions like this, it varies. Some people may only get one dictation question, but others will get more. There isn't a fixed number for any question because the test changes for each person. As I said in the video, you have a minute total for each dictation question and you're right, the answer is "I didn't receive the message in time." If you were to write did not in stead of didn't or didn't in stead of did not, it wouldn't be a big difference, so don't worry too much.

      Spelling in English is annoying! I would advise to start by reading through the rules, but. know they don't always work since English borrows words from other languages. This site is a good place to start: grammar.yourdictionary.com/spelling-and-word-lists/spelling-rules.html Another way is to look at commonly misspelled words and learn those: grammar.yourdictionary.com/spelling-and-word-lists/misspelled.html

    Thank you, Mam. your tips very helpful for me
    but I can dictate in a notebook although, for typing, it is quite hard for me.

      For some people that's a hard thing to practice- to get used to typing! Just keep practicing typing as much as you can!

    Hi! Can you suggest me how can I improve my lower marks in the practice test? I got 70-125.How does define the lower score?

    • @TeacherSally
      @TeacherSally  4 года назад

      That's a huge range. Is that from one practice test?

    We always have to start with capital letters. Haven't we?

      Yes, English sentences should start with a capital letter :-)

    Hi sally, your video is really helpful. My target score is 105 for my admission, but I got 90-95, 90-100 score in the practice test. I don't know that when is the appropriate timing to take this test.. :/

      I really am not sure. Usually the actual score is in the middle of the range score from the practice test. Do you know what skill is the most difficult for you and which ones are the easiest?

      @@TeacherSally For me, the most difficult skill is writing exactly in limited time. there are some easy things but that's hard as well...

    Teacher, please: Grammatically, the correct thing would not be to start the sentence 01 with "Parking" instead of "Park"? PARKING THE CAR BESIDE THE BUILDING.

      "Park the car beside the building" is a command and uses simple present. You could say "He is parking the car beside the building" to express an action in progress, but you would need to add a subject. In my example the subject is understood to be "you."
