I gave this one a go but did not passed over 3 minutes. Still find it helpful for beginners level but most advanced videos say one sentence then pause. In yours, you pause every 2 words which leaves me blank until you speak again. And the blank pauses are longer than the pauses for the dictated words, there is lots of free time during this exercise. I am blank write then pause pause pause and dont really focus. I gave it a try. 👍
@@CambridgeEnglishTeacherRory I am a hardcore one so really pushing myself for a higher score. But I definitely think that 9 years ago when I was still in Spain, practising for the first time, it would have been really helpful. Looking forward to future content for die hard students like me! 🤗😁👍
Hey Rory, I simply couldn't find a good video to practice phonemic dictation for my English phonetics and phonology exam, turns out you have a whole playlist! I know this wasn't exactly the purpose you had in mind for this video but still, it was very helpful. Thank you, earned yourself a new subscriber. :)
Hey Jovana, nice to hear from you! I hope your exam goes well. I actually have a dictation audiobook. Let me know if that could be useful and I'll leave a link. Otherwise, I'll see you in another video :)
Okay, here you go: studentlanguages.com/c1ornotc1audiobook/ The dictation level is not C1 but the dictations themselves teach techniques for passing the Cambridge C1 exam, so it will be useful (if you ever decide to do that). There are some exercises built into the dictations too :)

Great video. Keep up the good work. Could you go through all answers the next time please instead of just the first one? By the way I‘ve made 13 mistakes in the dictation and 2 in the main task. I guess I need to learn more often :D
