    to everybody here saying how easy it is - This is just part 1 which is always the basic introduction; consider the stress which has a really big impact and even the easiest questions seem hard; they are judged based on the vocabulary and using the right grammar, so it may not look hard, but it is quite difficult.

    For the people, who say that it is very easy:
    Obviously, if we compare B2 and C1, the difference between these levels in Reading/Use of English and Listening will be much greater, than in Speaking. Because of that, it seems like the Speaking part in CAE quite a simple.

  • @tonymeltondj

    Questions are easy, in my opinion. But the answers are good, and what I liked most of all is the pronunciation these students have, and also they are fluently speaking.

    • @colorfulflop
      @colorfulflop 2 года назад +5

      the point aren't the questions, which might be just the same ones as the B1 preliminary, but the answers. It's obvious that on B1 they don't require compless answers with a wide range of vocabulary, but on C1 the examiners are definirely looking for better answers, where you speak fluently, have a good pronunciation, say many things and have a wide range of vocabulary.

      I’m like you, I have a good mastery of English, however I’m socially anxious. I do think that being able to actually speak to people in the language is part of your fluency. What use is a language if you’re not going to communicate in it? Work on your social anxiety by pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and speaking to more people in your native tongue and then use that to get comfortable doing the same in the language you’re studying.

    Idk why I’m watching these videos at 2am even though I’m a native speaker
    But what I’ve noticed about these C1, C2 speaking tests - their answers sound a bit too robotic, like they’re reading from a script, I guess nerves play a big role in that but just my quick little observation.

    • @TheAnarchist99
      @TheAnarchist99 16 дней назад

      Because they are not legitimately C1 English users, that's why. When you reach that level and beyond you sound very natural and you're able to express your ideas well for the most part, these guys are at best a B2 but it was to be a expected since this is not a well renowned exam like the IELTS or Cambridge exams in general
