Mental health I only know of HYBE who have a dedicated Mental Health Team where everything is private and confidential between artist and therapist as it should be. Any Artist can access it and doesn't require permission to do so.

I didn't know HYBE did that! That's actually a lot more than I thought they do

my qualms with kpop is extensive. i think it was easier to follow groups or bands in the 00s than it is in current times. if you arent massive hoarder of their merch or completely delulu then its harder to find reason to need ot do so much just to interact with the members. and online interaction seem to be the way its going which makes it seem soooooo fake? like ur not getting real face to face interaction its a few minutes if that not enough for me to want to build a connection with them when its based on how delusional you are to need x amount fo albums to get into fanmeets. also kpop is so selective on where it holds such events anyway. honestly even the fanmeet seem less inviting because you are still surrounded by other fans and other members etc etc. it must be next to impossoble to actually meet them randomly in more quiet setting to get to know them. its shame bc i think idols are so likeable but it seem we cant casually like them or join in on their activities compared to earlier times without having to be a true hard core stan that act crazy or scream and cry in front of the members.
im in the middle of nowhere i cannot just spend 200 quid there and back on the train plus food plus hotels and whatnot just to go to one of these festivals that kpop groups are only just coming too. the amount they are expected to spend on idols is ridiculous in and of itself. theyre more so treated like a shiny penny than a person as well. even san is oversexualised for his body where anyone posting anything about him when its ibvious they only would want to use him for s*x.
hardly anyone really talk about idols talent it mainly their face or body unless they are an allrounder which is impossible for anyone to be truly perfect at everything they ever do. there just something kpop lacks for me to truly be delulu bc the 00s were so fun and inexpensive and more in person than current music events. it seems that we have to go the extra mile just to get small momentary interactions out of it and im like its not worth it not only does kpop not meet my age groups expectations in that its only catered for tiktok related performances which is nothing special in and of itself.

But it makes us all go the extra mile for brief momentary interaction that wont make them remember us the next time because thennwe have to keep going back and doing more to get into such events or to go to concerts you really have to love a groups discography in order to genuinely want to go and even then you maybe only like a handful of their songs per group. you arent always going to like every song they dish out or every choreo or every performance and so on.

and tbh theres no surprise anymore because once you seen them online you know the song you know the dance moves you know the lyrics or outfits and whatnot. sometimes i just watch on youtube if theres any concert i wanted to go too it saves travelling there and back for a mere 1-2 hour event

I agree with everything you said here! Kpop nowadays really doesn't allow for much genuine interaction with an idol. And it is sad that the idols are just products and not treated as human beings. Kpop is also really superficial like the rest of the entertainment industry. Like lots of people are popular not because they are genuinely amazing at performing, singing, dancing, etc. but because they're "hot". The companies just want to make money so they don't care that it's not easy to get into fanmeets or fansigns. And San as well as the rest of Ateez too are oversexualized but they are under pressure to always look good, which is sad. I wish it wasn't so manufactured and more authentic.

u used to only have to buy a cd not spend 100 quid on an album that came with a cd player ahem @ aespa girlies please stop being deseperate for money. its sad that the world has become so money orienated but albums are quite useless to any of us since we dont use them physically. and cd players were a 00s item but we dont need it in current times no when youtube has existed for some time. it make me question lately what i even like about kpop?
i already lived through the 00s i hate seeing the same ole trends come about bc music when i didnt care for it in the 00s im no going to care about it now then? am i. in the west music isnt about trends or having conceptual based imagery. i think thats where kpop separates itself from the west but it still falls under typical pop music that require lot of money to be spent on it. it just seems to be lacking something the more it becomes formattedd for tiktok and shortening the songs to being a mere viral chorus or short segment. i find i either dont like the whole song or only like a small aspect of it. i might not like the lyrics but i like the sound or i dont like the sound but i like the vocals and so on.

@@ngcritique i hate to be all doom and gloom but i think societies going downhill anyway what aith our attention spans being shortend severely by media and online entertainment taking most of our attention away from simply enjoying the whole songs or the artists and treating them like a sex object not a human being with feelings. its become about having that unhealthy attachment to idols and celebs where we need to know everything about them follow them on every platform keep giving them our reactions and so on we dont actually spend much time following them for their music as we did in times before the internet.

Do you know pokemon cards? For me (who's more into its video game than its card game), collecting pokemon cards is insane... the rare ones are expensiiiiiive. They also come in different language (based on country they were released at). I can't understand my brother collecting them (with the help of my dad as well).
But I guess that's because that's not my hobby...

Yea! I've seen so many youtubers go crazy for them too, I bet it gets so pricey. I never got the hype either but people spend so much on them.

I use the CD's as I have a great sound system and it also means I can play the CD's in the garden without having to ear headphone's etc as I use in ear monitors all the time as a Artist so try not to use them when I'm relaxing.

The kpop company that only do more than 2 versions but onlyon very special occassions and never more than 4 are BigHit that I know of in fact time's they only do one version. Does anyone know of other Kpop Companies that package similarly to BigHit?
