It’s because YG doesn’t experiment with girl group concepts. It’s the always girl crush concept with their girl groups. And also because YG doesn’t want to break out of their comfort zone. YG has always been known for being “hip hop swag” and nothing else. It was fine for a while but times have changed and people want something new and fresh. All of this has been said by Zach himself...the evidence is from HIM. I literally explain in the video that grooming victims usually deny anything bad happened. I didn't say anything illegal happened, she was groomed because Zach was a fully grown ADULT going after Indiana. They have a 7 year age gap, at no point in their years of friendship was Zach a minor. There was no "proper manner" of romantic interest. He waited until she got out of an abusive relationship when she was vulnerable to come and save her (one of the many signs of grooming). Your last sentence doesn't indicate grooming, Zach was not a child when he met Indi. It's so easy to look up the signs of grooming on google....his fans need to educate themselves.

Thanks so much! Yea it's so easy to tell looking back at their podcast. And they didn't even have adult fans too so he was being creepy and weird with his jokes to his underage audience.

But it makes us all go the extra mile for brief momentary interaction that wont make them remember us the next time because thennwe have to keep going back and doing more to get into such events or to go to concerts you really have to love a groups discography in order to genuinely want to go and even then you maybe only like a handful of their songs per group. you arent always going to like every song they dish out or every choreo or every performance and so on.

and tbh theres no surprise anymore because once you seen them online you know the song you know the dance moves you know the lyrics or outfits and whatnot. sometimes i just watch on youtube if theres any concert i wanted to go too it saves travelling there and back for a mere 1-2 hour event

I agree with everything you said here! Kpop nowadays really doesn't allow for much genuine interaction with an idol. And it is sad that the idols are just products and not treated as human beings. Kpop is also really superficial like the rest of the entertainment industry. Like lots of people are popular not because they are genuinely amazing at performing, singing, dancing, etc. but because they're "hot". The companies just want to make money so they don't care that it's not easy to get into fanmeets or fansigns. And San as well as the rest of Ateez too are oversexualized but they are under pressure to always look good, which is sad. I wish it wasn't so manufactured and more authentic.

Yea parents definitely have a part to play in protecting their own kids but they don't in these instances. It's not solely on the companies but there are plenty of situations where CEOs like JYP have been called out for being creepy towards the younger idols. Another example is Hyuna talking about how she was the "sexy" member in Wonder Girls when she was 14. Also the insane amount of pressure these kids are under in the kpop industry is well documented. There have been idols that have spoken about having to keep their weight constantly at a certain number and basically not eating. Plenty of idols whose mental health has deteriorated too. I don't think kids should go through this. Plus, when you're a kid, you see an older idol and think this is your "dream" but you're not old enough to be rational and understand what being an idol actually entails.
