My engine would idle on the low end when the engine got to operating temperatures. 99% of online forums said it was the Idle Air Control Valve that needed to be cleaned after 20+ years. A new one from Toyota is $250+ while a Used one is roughly $50 - $70, but you'd have to buy the throttle body with it depending on the seller. Even then the used one would also have to be cleaned. The valve does in fact work, it just needs to be cleaned from all the dirt and carbon build up.
This job took me roughly 3 hours and some new coolant. Either cover up your coolant if you intend on reusing it, or have some fresh coolant on hand. I left mine open and ended up getting dirt mixed into it.
    Thanks for watching!
