I mean they did used to be SD90MAC's, which were known for being absolute trash, so yeah, I guess your right. It was still a huge waste of money though.

They fired maintenance personnel in that sector years back, and over time the lack of any sort of safety checks outside of federally mandated ones led to hotbox detectors not working..
Which led to the crash.
