No they're not saying that what they are saying is that if you have the metal Casioak that's the type of beating it will take also, weather normal Casioak or Metal version, all of the 2100 series work the exact same way.

I really liked this model. But never going to buy. Because, the timer features sucks. Many casio models has the same problem. There no option to set custom timer. Its really frustrating
