You did a great job cleaning up the wrench but I believe the most amazing thing about this video is watching you vacuum a cat without it tearing your hand off. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Much appreciated. I don't know why but the cat seems to love being vacuumed. He is a very strange. Check out my other video, the cat appears at the end. ruclips.net/video/c8tTjNByzOs/видео.html
Bahco is the only brand of adjustable wrench I'll buy, I love their 8" series with the speed wrench on the handle and wide opening jaws, they open as far as the average 10" adjustable wrench. Good to see you got this old beauty looking good again, all old tools like these should be cherished because we won't see tools of that quality too much in the future.
Thanks Mark for watching and leaving such a nice comment. I have a old 8" I need to restore at some point. They certainly are a good brand. If you haven't already please subscribe and check out some of my other videos.

Thanks James. Just make sure it is a brass brush and not a brass plated brush. I found some of those brass wire wheel type brushes don't work. All the best, let me know how you get on.
What a level of finish you have .... I would have tried to match the inside too . Outstanding finish with the primer putty and brass paint . Way better than new , nice show piece !
Thanks Jim, this was my first video. Lots of sanding. I had high hopes for matching the inside but I the brass paint turned out better I think. Thanks for watching and for the kind comments.

Another awesome restoration mate, that came up beautiful, they're worth a fortune new. And a great solution to a malting long haired cat, will have to try that trick!
Very nice resurfacing. But since it will rust again, maybe you should have either sprayed a clear coat over it OR nickel coated it using an electrolysis process. But very nice project all the same... Thumbs Up!
Thanks for your comments and the like Gary. I did later cover it in some wax but point taken a nickel plating would have finished it off nicely. I did some nickel plating in my second video. Thanks for watching, much appreciated.
Hehehh your very first video is also stunning!!!😍😍 Since the first time you are amazing, if I were an old wrench I wouldn't pick anyone else to take care of me, I bet she just felt in love with you 😋😋😋 By the way, you could have achieved that texture just by sandblasting that little area again, maybe with a thicker grit sand!!! 😊😊
I spent so so much time on this that is quite possible lol 🤪 way too much hand sanding involved in this project. I actually did try blasting that area again and tried out some other methods before I gave up. This one is now sitting on my workshop wall as a reminder of my first project. Thanks again for your encouragement and enthusiastic comment 👍👍👍👍👍
I think it's only you. Did you enjoy the video ? The only joke I know is a dad joke. Did you hear about the surgeon who accidentally swapped his tools with the hospital handyman’s? His last surgery was gut wrenching.
Wow! Astonishing results. Congratulations. By the way what sort of grease have you used there, silicon? if yes what brand/ specs and why silicon-based and not white lithium since there is not rubber or plastic involved? Thanks
Thanks for watching M3a9m, much appreciated. Good question. It's actually called inox, it's a food grade grease and can be used on just about any metal surface or bearings.
Thanks for watching Bernard. For me it's always a fine line between leaving all the love marks or not. This was my first project and as you could probably tell, I'm no welder. Appreciate your comments.

it should not have been welded ! this process softens the steel.
Thanks very much for watching and leaving a comment Michael much appreciated.
The purpose of this video is to make a video.
What do you mean ?
I don't like the welding...you lose the character of the tool by doing this. If you want a Snap On wrench go get one
