To melee out bars you might use scaffolding bars instead of the bars your using now and molly's instead of pipe bombs- just a thought. Ty for the content.
I do add them behind the poles in later episode ;) But the reason they can't be used solo here is because of the half blocks. The fighting platform and the path have vertical half blocks on either end forming a 1 meter gap. The idea is that zombies will run towards you and fall through gap. Problem with the scaffolding is it doesn't have a centered block variant. It would either hover over the gap preventing zombies from dropping. Or if rotated the other way, would leave the half cube block exposed allowing them to walk on it and not fall through gap. Thus I have to use centered poles here. But I do add later the scaffolding behind the poles to stop cop spit. Hope that explains!
EerieKnight short of me digging the depths of forums, reddit and the like I wonder if you answer a important question for my massive skyscraper from scratch base build... I can't find a solid answer anywhere and don't know how to look into the code to find it myself. My million Dukes question is how far away from the player will electricity remain active and loaded via the chunks around the player? In order to creatively deal with screamers on my perimeter I'm needing to know the limits of it. LOL I also wonder if the scarecrow in darkness falls effects the active use of ran electricity in a loaded chunk as it is a 'chunk loader' item. Hope my hail Mary hits here lol...
That is actually a very good question! I don't know offhand myself so I looked around online and like you said.... nothing! While I cannot answer right now, I'll figure it out the old fashioned way. Lots of experimentation 😆
@@pseudoposse ty Eerie. My best info is it's close to what minecraft is but the numbers are slight increased for chunks in 7 days I think vs the mc 16x16 base chunk. I think 7 days operates the current player chunk and 4 chunks out in each cardinal direction then the lil diagonal corners. I believe I read 7 days is 18 or 19 sized chunks. So I guess I could test in a creative world? But not really my thing creative play lol. That would get a distance N/S/E/W of what 80 ish blocks out without using a chunk loader? I should post the base to reddit if I ever actually finish my monstrosity. ;)
@pseudoposse follow up. So far one generator seems functional atleast 100 blocks from so far 🤔 loving my big turtle 🐢 rower slide tight rope turrets tower base of zombie pain.
