He actually has great control over his voice in lower register as well, he's sung low in many bts songs and there's a short song called decalcomania which is pretty much entirely in lower register

Jungkooks voice is perfect enough to body the song by himself this cover was done back in 2016 jungkooks voice has since improved more. This performance was done live there are no studio versions the person who did the lyrics simply used the live audio

I love both versions so much. Like I don't ever see myself not listening to Big Bang version. I flip between the two. I don't know what it is about G-dragon's voice, but his part is what does it for me, lol. "The kid voice" lol. But it does the job. And Kookie takes a different take to it, and he hits the emotions of the song so well, that you feel as if you've been through the very pain of the lyrics when you haven't. He makes you feel everything.

Jungkook must've practiced really hard before this, as he always does, and he always executes so well (that bangtan bomb of him and Charlie Puth practising before their performance comes to mind). Another thing that he excels at is relaying the emotion of a song, and I think his version does this song justice.

First of all as you have realized at the end this is the live version and there is no recording version due to the copyright and all. Second of all, this was almost 4 years ago and he was only 18 years old. Ever since then Jungkook's vocal range has been broadened unbelievably. His lower range like in Decalcomania (even lower range in the beginning of Fake Love is beautiful) is amazing and his high range like ON is mesmerizing. If he ever covers this song again, I am telling you it will blow up. But sadly I heard it would be almost impossible due to copyright and all.

He was only 19 he was still developing his vocal style tht time .....he was so young and sing a difficult song in front of so big korean singers as judges maybe he was jst a lil nervous in the starting but now he improved sm now he is vocal king sing so many diffrnt styles in singing his solo MY TIME is very diffrnt from his singing style......ilove his vocals forever 👑
