That' just a lame excuse. Other groups also can still sing beautifully with good voice control even after many dance performance. BTS just don't have the good control of their voice. Everyone needs to accept that. They surely can do high notes and all.. but not a good voice control.

But the amount of times they’ve cried while performing this song... ugh, our emotional boys 😭 love them. They always perform with such sincerity. Which performance was it when V did adlibs and Jimin did that improvised high note perfectly?

The performance for V's improvised adlib was Citified I have an it on my ig story (I literally got scared cuz I moved my camera from him to JK since his verse ended and he did that). Jimin did an improvised high note idk I think in MetLife day2 but so did Jin if Im not wrong I remember being hella surprised.
this song is full of emotions. i always felt some type of way whenever i listen to this. they really delivered it well to us and that’s why we can connect with them.

The Story behind The Truth Untold by BTS
There's a story called, 'La Città di smeraldo' that takes place in a small town in Italy in the 1500s-1600s. The story's about an 'ugly' man who hid in an old castle alone. because of his looks he received lots of hate & cruelty while growing up. He never opened his heart to anyone. Whenever they tried to approach him, he hid in anger. His happiness was to plant flowers in his garden.
One day a woman appeared near the man's castle. She jumped over the garden fence and stole a flower. This angered the man at first. So he watched his garden all night. But when he fell a sleep, the woman took another flower. This continued for several nights. The man pretended to be asleep and watched the woman steal a flower. He started becoming curious about the woman. He began waiting for her. without realizing he kept waiting for her to come and the next day seemed a little brighter.
Following after her one day he realized that she was selling the flowers that she stole from him to make a living. The man desperately wanted to help the woman. But he was afraid she would be terrified by the way he looks. He knew she would not love his 'grotesque' appearance. He came to a conclusion that the only way he would be able to help her is to let her continue stealing flowers from his garden. The man decided to make a flower that doesn't exist on the planet. So that the woman could sell them at a expensive price. He began to make the flower in his castle.
After many unsuccessful attempts, the man made a flower that didn't exist and filled his garden. But the woman stopped coming. No matter how long he waited she never came to his garden. He eventually found out that the woman had died.

So 'La Città di smeraldo' is the basis of Jin's story in the Bangtan Universe. You know, Jin lingered in confessing his feelings to the girl he loved. He wanted to give the esmeraldo flower to the girl but before he could even do that and confess to her she died. Then the theme of the album is concluded by Jin's song "Epiphany", which is a song about the realization of loving oneself first just like how the nobleman realized that he should have loved himself so he could have the confidence to face and love the woman when she was still alive.

5:06 it kind of sounds like v’s version of cry is more desperate than the others. jungkook is more broken, jimin is more mid-cry and jin is more sullen but v has that desperate undertone. idk, it’s what i feel.
Jin singing is most heart touching and sometimes it feels like he is crying sometimes I feel depressed
Yeah, V’s cry is like desperate+frustrated+sad at his situation (it made it really masculine for some reason 😆) Jin’s cry is like he’s sad but he’s accepted the situation and just contemplating about it, Jimin’s cry is like he’s just realized his situation and getting sadder as the song progresses, and then there’s jungkook who is so sad and broken want to crie 😂

Well...although he has fewer lines, for me, truth untold is a V song...that song is made up for him, really...the others sounds super great of course and all of them have their moments, but taehyung literally killed the song simply with that beginning, and middle parts...
one of the best reaction/vocal analysis....and JIN is always best at emotional voices....the way adam actually found of JIN crying underneath ...hats off adam

They are taking about the lyric video. Among three 'I want you', the first two 'I want you' Adam was mentioning was JK's. The lyric video is wrong on that. But in Live version that ' I want you' Adam referring is Jimin.

I agree that their vocals are amazingly mixed and each add their own and particular texture to get a rich sound. (Taeyhung will always be my favorite voice even if I still I love Jin, Jimmin and JK's too). I also appreciate your tip as not cupping the mike. I am pretty sure they would sound even better (than they already do) if they held their mikes by the base.
