Honestly, regardless of your thoughts on the dub (I think people can be pretty hard on it), you cannot deny that this theme song is truly incredible. Fun, energetic, but still with that undercurrent of darkness and mystery. I think it fits Yu-Gi-Oh! as a series pretty darn well.
I always liked how Kaiba was the only one whose eyes weren't all watery in the opening, just because it showed how little fucks he gave about anything in the show.
Gone too soon.. R.I.P Kazuki Takahashi. The only card based TV series I really wanted to watch back then was Yu-Gi-Oh! The lore dealing with ancient Egypt, the amazing battles & seeing what was going to happen to Yugi next. Good times.
As much as I dislike the english dub for it's censorship, musical changes and character butching; I can't deny I get goosebumps hearing this theme.

there's only one way to settle this: by playing a children's card game!
