Well I must say Woody loads still growing 👍. I think everyone has had squash issues one way or another, with you it was cold with us it was too hot. Great update and harvests are excellent for this time of year. Cabbage whites have become equal opportunity eater 😢 the caterpillars 🐛 decimated my carrots 🥕. Happy gardening, Ali 🥵🇨🇦

Yes definitely I'm going to try and save the seeds, I've not grown it before but so impressed by the number of pollinators it attracts into the garden (and want to try cooking with it too!)

Well done on a 1lb+ apple! I’m finding our early apples are not the best tasting this year sadly, I think due to prolonged drought spring/early summer followed by a fairly cold wet summer until the last few weeks when it got really hot and humid. Weird summer! Here’s hoping the later apples and pears get the benefit of this late heat 🤞

Yes it's been a very weird summer indeed!
I've got some beautiful pears to pick later this month and hopefully the weather will be kind to us 🤞🤞
This afternoon we had an insane amount of rain, our front garden was flooded 😳
      Take care my friend ❤️

      Hey guys
Yeh squash definitely not as good as last year. I thought I would give the cider making a miss this year as so busy, plus got some hospital appointments so might have to take things easy for a little while 🤔

Last year . I missed taking whips as you called them.. for grafting . In the spring... when do I take whips and store them .. .. any alive great fully received.. or you could do a vlog on this .. for us all.. many thanks.

      Hi Tony
If you mean "scions" for grafting the best time to take these is when the tree is dormant i.e. December January February. Store them in cling film in the fridge and graft in late march/ early April depending on conditions. Hope that helps.
      Kind regards 👍👍👍
