- This was a treat; one of the fastest and most fun-to-drive cars I've ever piloted. Shockingly, that can be a rare combination. I had no idea they were this good to drive. Currently searching classifieds for C7 Z06s...dangit! Here's the mod list:
F1A procharger kit with big red blow off and mighty mouse catch can. American racing 1-3/4" headers and x- pipe. Made possible my Seth Welty from MIAO.
Purchased, installed and tuned at MJD Performance in Novi.
744 horsepower 675 torque to the wheels.
Corvette Grand Sport wheels powder coated spanish gold by QC Coatings.

Here on TheTopher, I'm known for putting a camera on my face and driving cars. Whether it's about any of my personal cars or reviews on weekly test vehicles, the goal is to give you an idea of what a certain car is like to drive or live with. Most of my videos are filmed in POV, with my clothes on, and (for like the 5th time) with in-ear binaural audio. Which, if I haven't made it clear yet, is why you should wear headphones. Because of the whole "woah" factor. It's there, trust me. Try it, you'll see! Or don't. As long as you whitelist me on your adblocker I'm okay with whatever you do or don't do with regards to headphone usage. That is all. Oh and I guess you should also probably subscribe. For those wondering, active rev-match was turned off in both of these videos ;) It's great how easy this car is to heel-toe and rev-match

Sometimes it will turn into a felony. I don't know the specifics because I'm from Europe, but if you exceed the speed limit by 50 km/h in my country you'll instantly lose your license, and you'll get a criminal record. If they can prove it of course, so thats might be why he is masking the evidence.

Yes, it is more incriminating. Anywhere in the US the more mph you do over the limit the heavier the penalties. In extreme cases reckless driving will land you in jail.
100 mph is when your speeding ticket turns into wreckless driving.

Topher, know this video is like 5 years old. But I thought it was a funny coincidence, the same reason I'm so into cars today is the bonding relationship it created with myself and my father. It all started with a **Green 1976 Karmann Ghia**. First car I learned stick on and I still remember drifting around my first corner, mostly on accident. I'm about 6' and my knees were always at my chest, but what a fun little car!

why boost guage not working? i know it has a different blower but could you tune it?
I think a centrifugal blower fits the powerband of an LS/LT engine much better.
Creates a little more “linear” of a powerband, allowing you to control power output with the throttle a little better.
Most have probably hear the sayings that the Z06 is overpowered on the track. I think those statements are based on the fact you can’t modulate power with short shifting.
Just a guess! I’ve never driven a C7 Z06. So it’s all just a guess! Sweet car btw.

So I'm curious why he went with the procharger instead of tuning the existing roots-type supercharger? I would assume you could save a lot of money by buying the Grand Sport and then add the Procharger to it, instead of buying the Z06 and replacing the stock supercharger. I'm probably missing something here, but don't know. thx.

ZO6 have a built motor Grand sports do not you can definitely port your stock ZO6 blower but you're only going to gain a certain amount of horsepower before it's maxed out I took mine off and Twin Turbo my car and whole bunch of other mods
Because a procharger is better in every way than the factory roots blower. This supercharger is garbage compared to the one used on the LS9.
Chuck Beef I am curious why you think the Procharger is better in every way than a roots style supercharger? Centrifugal superchargers are readily available to auto manufacturers, but none of them have ever made a car with one because their power delivery characteristics are inferior to turbochargers and roots style superchargers and the power delivery of turbine style superchargers is unacceptable to the car buying public. I have owned cars with a Whipple supercharger and with a Procharger. I will never buy a Procharger again. You lose too much low rpm power with the Procharger to make it worth the top end gains.

I have 2016 ZO6 with stock supercharger. Problem with them or any root style is when they get hot they loose a lot of power.
I know eliminated supercharger in general and did whole bunch of mods and twin-turbo setup my car isn't automatic so I have no turbo lag

my D1 procharger hit hard mid range to high end pretty much like a turbo. If you car is tuned correctly you should be very satisfied with procharger.
I currently have about half million bucks in cars and trucks none all have mods, none with root style chargers. The only one will be my 2018 f150 super snake when it comes in

Joe Friday they are paddle shifters from the automatic version. they keep them on to reduce production costs but all they do is toggle rev matching on or off.

Why put a different supercharger with completely different set up on it. Sounds like a difficult mess and EXPENSIVE.
