A little confused about the battery life comparison to the galaxy watch 4. Just saying because I’ve owned a galaxy watch 4 and can say it’s definitely a 1 day kind of watch, where Fitbit gets a least 3-4 days before having to charge it.
I was going to say this. My watch 4 lasts about 2 days max.
I've brought this just today after my versa 2 died and it used to last 4 to 5 days without charge
The guy wasn't truthful; he hadn't completed his homework. When I had a Fitbit Versa 1, it lasted at least two days, even with the always-on display. However, my Watch 5 didn't even hold up for 8 hours. I disabled most features on the Watch 5-no Always-On Display (AOD), no call or text notifications, no Wi-Fi, etc.-only leaving continuous heart rate monitoring on while activating power-saving mode.
Yes I have the Galaxy 4 snd it's 40 hours, max. 6 days is streets ahead of that.
Swimming in my pool has destroyed a Versa 2 and a Versa 3. Received a Versa 4 as a replacement from the factory but I am afraid to wear it in the pool. I don't think I trust the water resistance in these products based on my past experiences. Just a little heads up for those who wear their Fitbits while swimming.
Ive had a fitbit inspire for around 3 years i think? Maybe more im not 100% sure but ive been using it for swimming showering everything for the entire time ive had it and its never had a problem but maybe the newer ones just suck
I also used Fitbit Inspire 3 and used it for swimming. It was ok, no problem at all. Now I've lost my Fitbit, gotta buy a new one then. Perhaps another Fitbit Inspire 3.
I'd read up on how water resistance ratings work. It's a commonly misunderstood metric; for instance it involves time spent in water not just depth.
@@Adam-rw4xkI get that but then why include swimming as one of the exercises in the app? It’s somewhat misleading people into believing that they are safe to simply wade in the water, without incurring damage to the electronics of the product.
Just got my Fitbit versa 4 the time on the face is stuck on 3:07. Can’t figure out how to fix the correct time. Help!
How is this the 4th model and still lags/stutters like the first one? I have the first versa and looking for an upgrade but this battery life got me spoiled, everything else is horrible 😂
Can you control your phone's music (Volume/Play/Pause/Skip) with the Versa 4?
So if you're running and your phone is secured away, you don't have to dig it out disrupting your run just to skip, repeat, or crank up a song.
I believe so but you need a wifi connection and a spotify premium account if you wanna play music on the watch itself (might need a audio device)
No it DOESN'T. It's a piece of crap. Google killed fitbit. Can't even control your music via bluetooth, do you believe it ? It has less feature than a 50 bucks xiaomi band @@faseehurrehman2191

@@lovemesomesamBuying my boyfriend a versa 4 over the 2 he's rocking right now. Big difference I notice in researching is how you can answer calls with it, plus you can track your runs without your phone around because it has a gps built in. Does the contactless payment which I don't think 2 can do. It also has gyroscope to track all the more specific workouts.
What...did you mean by "it doesn't offer the battery life of competitors like Samsung Galaxy Watch 4"? It can do 6 days, while the galaxy watch struggles to do 2...am I misunderstanding something?

On Android phone, when I get a call, the watch's call notification keeps on going for hours even after the call is disconnected. Has this happened with anyone or my device is faulty?
If this is still happening you might be able to contact support and get a replacement. Support is quite good except about the app.
I’m going to be returning mine for an exchange as it’s not accurate tracking my steps… walked around London on a day out and it said 1200 steps lol

Why does the UI move so slow and chunky? I want one but I don't think I would manage with clunky menu movements
The processor isn’t super powerful which helps improve battery life and helps them hit the price point (or make more profit). You can move up into an Apple Watch for about 3x the money of course. You’ll get smooth gui,Apple ecosystem and other things..but the watch will need daily charging. Since I use my wearable for sleep tracking finding a convenient charge window daily for Apple Watch seemed like a hassle. Also I have an iPhone for apple things on the go.
I don’t usually find the Fitbit gui to be distracting. Versa 4 watches are on sale at Costco right now for 129. Fitbit Charge 5 for 89. The charge 5 covers a lot of the same territory that Versa 4 does imho
The versa 3 and original sense are smoother than these newest gen. Watches are
@@GuiitarBilly The Galaxy watch 5 costs the same if not less compared to this smartwatch and it has pretty much 100x more features and it's way smoother, so your money here is just going for the "battery life"

if the gps is not used for a long time the stregnth of its connection and accuracy is extremely poor for sometime but gets back up to normal after a few weeks of continuous usage.
Mine works against any surface for heart rate monitoring. My bed, walls, etc has a heart beat apparently

I just don’t know how Google could release a product like the versa 4 without Google assistant. Absurdly you have Alexa. But yet on the versa 3 it has Google assistant. No maps, wallet or call answering. It just seems rushed to me.
Pixel watch is probably why. Google doesn't want to cannibalize sales from their new watch.

I just got the versa 4, but I can't download any clockfaces, spo2, etc. Support states that there's a software update, but how long can it be before updates are finished?

I ordered this today because my sense2 died after 6 months. The battery would no longer charge, it would just overheat and stop charging, thankfully Amazon refunded my money and I ordered the Versa 4 based on the promise of a 6 day battery life! I sure hope it lives up to it's promise. I'm older but active, being older I sometimes forget to charge the darn thing!

My third Fitbit product. So far the best one we’ll see, I’ve had it for two months now. My other ones randomly stopped working
Charge 2 and 5 I liked the charge 5, I only got one year out of it, if that. I gave Fitbit another chance again we’ll see how long this one lasts. I refuse to buy the manufacturers warranty it’s a ripoff for sure like most warranties.
I'm a longterm fitness user. my fitbits don't last years and years but I keep coming back 😭

I want something to accurately count how many calories I burn via exercising. Is the Fitbit recommended for this? Sooooo, it looks like I'll be sticking to my Versa 2 then. It sounds like the old models are more condusive to life than the newer models. Granted, I can't use it without my phone near by but it's all good. I'll be keeping mines until it dies. Google, don't screw up a good company!!

Battery life is horrendous - like 36 - 48 hrs max depending on features used. GW4 died last night (26 months in, now out of warranty $435 CAD) So if this lasts 6 days, it's probably triple the GW4

I had a heart attack and was in AFIB for hours due to a while being ripped through my stomach and suffocation to death. This resulted in emergency surgery being cut from my breast plate to naval. I'm 32 yrs old. I have premium. My watch is 6 months old. It detected NOTHING with my heart.

Fitbit sense 1 and Versa 3 are better than these new gen watches. These new ones have slow and clunky UI and do not give as much details on the watch themselves as the last gen did. Google has ruined these watches!
My Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 has a battery life of 40 hours. This has a battery life of 6 days.

I travel by Metro in Bangalore and everyday the watch automatically captures over 3000 steps of walking 😂 this is something ridiculous in the age of tech. Samsung does a great job of not capturing your steps if you’re on a vehicle or driving.

Fitbit is the WORST watch to have. If you crack the screen by accident, the only option you have is to buy a new one. No customer support and service centers anywhere in the world. Absolute waste of money. Read the warranty policy before buying.
Got this for Xmas. It doesn't sync, doesn't have right time, the sleep tracking doesn't work. Do not buy.
