This took me like 100 attempts lol but I can finally say it still works. It works on the ps5 version which is the version im using. If anyone wants any extra tips heres what I learned. you should execute your air attack when you're about to reach the floor. This is so you don't launch the enemy over the wall and losing the glitch. Also you dont have to be very fast to do the glitch wait until the body of the thief stops bouncing before doing the group smash. If not you will throw the thief over the wall once again ruining the glitch. Timing really matters so watch for the tips I did and try to replicate the video exactly. It is a pretty specific glitch.
it is the same, xp in this game is 1xp for every hit, insane does not give more xp, enemies can just take more hits - and this enemy can take infinite hints :)
no, xp in castle crashers comes per hit (1 hit = 1xp) so this glitch hits at the same amount of times in insane as in normal so there is no need for insane - insane doesnt give more xp, enemies have more health so you can earn more xp off of their larger health pools. Hope this helps!

Or he'll fall and any attack button will pop him up on the top level and hawk wont attack him he'll just be up there. I must have some bad mojo with this method. And frankly I'm not above just cheating xp into the game if people are doing afk methods anyways. So I will let y'all know I maxed out all my characters. I cheated. Sorry behemoth games 🙏😣 🫣
ahaha fair enough mate, sorry you couldn't get it, but there is some more methods for faster xp that is semi afk, i will be uploading them in the next few days if you would like to see them :) the game is nearly 16 years old i dont think they care much lol
@@heateddecision5401 Try luring him down by going off the ledge and shielding until he goes down and gets stuck at the bottom of the ledge, then jump and light attack before stomping, and stay there. Make sure you're not on insane mode. It hasn't failed me before.
@@heateddecision5401 might be too late I had this issue too. The solution I found was to melee him before he is completely backed up against the cliff. Do this by being somewhat farther away from him, then jumping and hitting him. You should hit him before he is right behind the ledge and you should be able to stomp him.
no, my results were in normal mode, and also its not the fastest but it is the best as it is afk - plus if you are willing todo painter farm - theres a potentially quicker insane level farm im going to be making a vid on in the next few days so stay tuned

I’ve watched many videos and I’m actually beginning to lose my sanity how much I’m getting screwed over by bugs or just straight up bs I can’t control. I do it just like you do in the video, wtf am I doing wrong???
sounds like you are dealing lots of damage with your weapon, enough to kill the thief, try a weapon lowering strength, and also try to select one enemy at the river when they enter the fight and make sure you DO NOT hit them at all and leave them to last (that is what i do)
@@friedmattressmy weapon does 10 damage. I’m talking about executing it. I either throw him, stomp after he dies, or for some reason throw a regular heavy attack. This is really frustrating.
@@bulletbro4745 im not too sure, once your in that bottom corner, jump and immediately LIGHT attack, then once u land go to the top of the enemy and press ur stomp button and stay up against the wall
@@friedmattress I just realized something, and I got it right about instantly. I didnt know you have to kill him with the stomp, so I’d get him to be oneshot when I did it. I’ll delete my comment in a bit, though next time can you mention that? That’s all mb
no you dont have to delete it as if others have the same problem they can see how to fix it - i thought what i said of leaving one enemy left would guide people to just not hit them but the more you know haha - atleast you have got it working!

This is highly better on Insane mode if you have a level of 30 because the thieves in insane mode gives more Exp

yes that on insane mode is faster, but this is afk and is still very fast!

really? not heard that one before, try a lower damage weapon so you dont accidentally carry over low damage into the glitch so it still works
