Ninja claw is at least B tier imo, I’d argue agility IS important in insane mode because you need to move around quickly to dodge attacks, plus if your going for a magic and agility build, this is THE weapon

What?! The Unicorn Horn is definitely a solid S tier. Don't underestimate that magic it gives. Due to how magic works, it gives extra range on magic attacks too. Losing out on some strength is absolutely worth it and beneficial at times because it means leveling up faster.
That thing gives like +6 Magic and I have my magic fully maxed so it does a good truckload of damage. I use blue knight and I can wipe the floor with most enemies (projectile/A magic)

So... this tier list is basically:
Strenght: Omg we absolutely need that, can't waste it
Magic: A very valuable resource, but would trade it for more strenght
Defense: A valuable resource, but would trade it for strenght and magic
Agility: Who needs agility bruh?

I heavily disagree with a lot of stuff in this tier list. Considering you get XP for every hit, imo at low levels the last thing you want is more damage so all the weapons up to level 15 that give Strenght or Crit chance aren't really great and all that take away strenght are at least B tier. Lollipop is easily an S tier for me, it falls off later due to the agility cap but at level 15, but up to lvl 15 it really makes a difference.
If you're characters are maxed XP doesn't matter lol. In fact to go even further if you are just good at the game XP doesn't matter. It's feasible to clear the game even at level 6 or 8. I never really understood the people that care so much about leveling in relation to the tier list or a weapons viability. If you want to level faster use one of the pets.
No matter what if I want agility I’m gonna get the lollypop levelling up agility by itself is just bad just get a weapon that helps with agility

To be honest. Agility is pretty nice to have, especially in insane mode. so most agility weapons are pretty good on their own. I think your being slightly unfair with the agility stat ;-;
Being over the agility cap is really not that useful. Bow is fun but hits 1 target so there is that... And moving faster is nice but not needed in insane, you can easily finish insane with 0 agility.

my personal favorite before the endgame is the one you can buy in the volcano shop, it's just a better hammer. and to add personal value i have a streangh/magic playstyle not agility

Only reason I actually use the Ice sword is cause that shit looks bad ass, definetley the coolest designed weapon in the game.
Ice sword is kinda just for appearance over everything else but it’s cool

it would be nice to see the stats of the weapons while you rank them. I myself atleast can't remember the stats of every single weapon
The light Sabor gives 5 agl and it has an effect so I think it shouldn't be f teir

Shock is kinda only good for red knight’s own magic and it’s 2 agility not 5

Agility builds are OP when maxed out. Level 13 you can max out a single stat so from then on rapid fire arrows across the whole map is super useful the entire game except the wizards castle.
I mean arrows can sometimes be useful but if you want to use arrows just get the lollypop and level up your agility like three or four times Plus magic is way better than arrows in every way
man that level 20 weapons tier list was not very good
W list but I think the log is S. I only use lvl 1 10 20 and 30 weapons

5 agility is way too good for a starter
The cardboard tube is useful for grinding levels, due to it’s low damage. Other than that it isn’t great.

yeah because it takes away strength, so you can hit them more, therefore increasing the exp@@sev-n
-4 strength is terrible, esp for insane mode, and elec is the worst element for weapons. Low strength for leveling just wastes your time as you spend more time in the same stages, rather than moving on to more stages that you were already going to play anyway. It's a contender for one of the worst weapons in the game imo. The magic increase isn't that good in insane, as juggling and using the drill combo almost always does more damage. If you want high magic for normal mode, just use unicorn horn.

The scissors are a direct downgrade to the broccoli. The scissors take away a stat and need a higher level, whereas the broccoli is lvl 1 and doesn't lower stats.

The weapons are intended for classes yes castle crashers has classes
1 what I like to call Attacker (invest everything in attack and agility then defense )
2 (Magic Player) - Invest everything in magic and agility
(Juggernaut) - goes for defense and attack (scout) go full agility and attack
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IM DOING CLASS (puts random points in random things)

I find it crazy that people are still playing this game. It's fun don't get me wrong, but i thought this died like 10 years ago.
Its been renewed on multiple systems i feel like thats the biggest reason, and its hard. A challenging game with good mechanics good art and it just being an overall good game will make any game stay around forever just look at meat boy binding of issac or battle block theatre, bunch of similar stuff (in my opinion) all more then 10years old and people come back!
Ive been playing it on switch last time i played it was on a 360 i think 🤔 maybe it was a demo???? No clue 😆 but im getting far this time!
