I'm so glad that you are basing your conclusions on Scripture! Question: if Jesus died to save us from our sins, and if Jesus died for everyone's sins, then who will go to hell, and for what reason?
@@Ronald47798 Hi Ronald. Why do you believe in Jesus and so many millions do not believe in Him? Are you just morally better, more humble, and more wise than all those who don't believe in Him?
@@jettoth3 no through believing that christ died for our sins and rose again on third day we will all be saved(Rom 10 9), we all are fallen short for God glory no one is perfect(Rom 3 23) thats why Jesus Son of God came down from heaven to take the sins of the world and those who didn't believe that christ didn't died for his sins won't be saved even if he is morally better or more humble he is still isn't perfect and had sin against God
@@mewthecutest According to Scripture, those who are saved from hell are saved by grace, through faith in Jesus. In Eph. 2:1-10 we see this teaching: "As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions-it is by grace you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." The problem for those who are going to hell is unbelief, which comes from both ignorance and pride. The solution for that problem is grace. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast." God has the solution, but God is not obligated to give the grace that saves the soul to everyone. He has the right to save (by grace) who He wants to save.
Every individual is offered and invited to receive salvation.. If you try to enter the kingdom any other way, you’re a thief and a robber.. If you reject it, you stand on the side of those that crucified Jesus, and woah unto them, that reject and trample under foot so great a salvation.. This means you will be held accountable, and can’t blame total depravity for your rejection .. It was offered to you..

Hey Sam I missed you earlier but as usual I love what you're doing! You have helped me in so many ways in my walk back to the Father! I just wanted to encourage you to keep doing what you do! I know that sometimes it's hard, but I am an example that you are needed and loved! I will have you in my prayers not only you but also your Daughters. God will see you through this time of trials! God Bless You!
Sam, excellent presentation! It's interesting how Calvin himself refutes limited atonement. Brother, it would be interesting if sometime you brought Dr. Sungenis on the show to talk about soteriological issues. God bless brother.
Great analysis as usual Sam. I hope the Calvinist out there respond. About halfway through you coined a funny but sadly true term 'only itis'. I guess that Luther was the first person to come down with a mild case of 'only itis'- when he termed the phrase Faith alone, completely disregarding the writing of James.
I'd love to see a similar discussion of eternal security. (If one already exists, please provide a link.) My reading of Scripture seems to make it clear that we can lose our salvation by turning away from Christ. I haven't found the Baptist and Reformed arguments in favor of OSAS persuasive. In fact, this one doctrinal point prevents me from joining the SBC. If I'm wrong on this point, I'd like to be corrected
Who can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen- that was nice. Sam can you repeated the wedding of the Cana,I can't find the old session. God bless you Sam
Sam you answered matt slick so amazing but I can't find it....... regarding this verse....... And therefore I have sworn unto the house of Eli, that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be purged with sacrifice nor offering for ever. 1 Samuel:3:14
You can't just rip the scripture out of it's context. In john six jesus is explicit that no one can come to him unless it is granted to them by the father. Also all Is that the are drawn by the father Comes to Jesus.and jesus raises them up at the last day. What is the work of God? John six twenty nine that you believe in him whom he has sent. So when we talk about the word world it doesn't mean every single individual. Remember when the pharisees were saying the whole world has gone after him? Was the whole world going after Jesus? Please put it in context, the words in the context are defined by the context. Otherwise you come up with nonsense. Another thing is does the father fail to heed the sun's prayers? No. Jesus says the father always hears him.

Calvin's view on the atonement is a very interesting concept that should be studied carefully.
