that's not how chiseled bookshelves work, the comparator shows the signal of the last slot that has been interacted with, so it'll be length 1 when last interacted with slot 1, 2 for slot 2, up to 6. So the lamp will always light up when someone interacts with slot 1, even when there's still 6 books in the thing
