- What day is it? What month? Wait, it's not 2008?! What episode are we on? Why are these boxes so heavy? Oh well, none of these petty details matter in the timeless realm beneath the floorboards.
There has been some terrible fake crap washing up down the cellar of late, so hopefully we'll be able to do a video featuring these awful things soon.
BOILERPLA... ER, GENERAL INFO:
Tom, Deb, and Ob would like to thank everyone who have been kind enough to send in gifts. Seriously, you guys are just the best.
I'd like to thank each and every one of you who take the time to watch DtC, and am very grateful to everyone who takes even more time out of their day to comment. In a perfect world Tom or Ob would be able to engage with everyone in the comment section, but alas the world is far from perfect. Tom doesn't know how (and refuses to learn) and Ob is something of a Luddite.
FAQ & A:
Q: I have a burning question about something in the video! What should I do?!
A: An email sent directly to Tom is the best way to get your question answered, because while he most definitely reads each and every one of your comments, he hasn't quite gotten the hang of replying to them in the comment section, and is not likely to in the foreseeable future. Or ever. Seriously, he still calls RUclips "the U-TOOBZ".
Tom's personal email is: herrwittmann@gmail.com
You can also call him if you prefer (856-866-8733) between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM, EST. This may be slightly more difficult because he's forever running around away from his desk, but it's worth a shot.
Q: I have a amusing anecdote, scathing criticism, or heartfelt compliment that I deeply need to express and I require / demand / long for a personalized response! What should I do?!
A: See "A" above.
Again, Tom's email is: herrwittmann@gmail.com

That Imperial Navy dagger was absolutely jaw-dropping!
The Olympic pin is a Kampf Richter pin, its a sign for the judges at the Olympic games.... Greetings from Germany
wow what a great show of great stuff. nice daggers badges etc. the 1901 naval dagger is a killer, then the boots wow. dated 6 44 on the bottom. must have been a high ranking killer for sure. boot dont come any nicer nor more senister either. thanks for sharing. great video. Larry
That Olympic pin from the riker case grouping is a common "coffin" pin fake. Some of the other items in there I'd take a very close look at the pilot badge and SS service award. There are very good reproductions out there and it's not hard to artificially age and weather something.
Those boots, wow!! and that 1940 Eagle!! thanx for another great video !
Hello Team Wittmann! Out of the gate, I would just like to wish Mr. Wittmann the elder good luck with the cardiologist so he can get his eyes fixed. I really look forward to new videos from you guys and always enjoy the unboxings and the banter.
Boots are ausome, beautiful shape, well marked proubly one of the best pairs around.
Those SS boots look like horse riding SS boots - not standard officer boots - so a nice set with those oak boot trees
That badge at 35:38 is a WWI Austria-Hungary Field Pilots Badge - FJ1 - Emperor Franz Joseph. It's rare and I've seen this badge for $1,000 - $1,200 range. There is also some conflicting information out there. Some say this was actually made in the 1930's and presented to veterans.
What a show not one bad thing and a great ending with the boots 👍👍
❤❤❤❤😊suddenly i Like mondays.thank you Sir
Glad I found your channel. So knowledgeable
Those boots were pretty sharp
We need another look at your collection:). I'd love an in-depth tour.
Good health to you Tom we all ❤you mate

Mr Wittmann, the Luftwaffe dagger in minute 53 has an engraving on the bottom of the crossguard of reeds MH, please check. Greetings from the Netherlands. Mike
Another beautiful video
Love my favorite man in the basement, hope to meet him at a show one day!
Yup I’ve got one of those confounded European calendars! Keep thinking Monday is Sunday! Tends to screw up the whole week 😅
Спасибо Томас за Ваш труд.Всегда смотрю Ваши видео с Алексом.
1:05:24 Min. "for good comradeship - the NCO Corps of the 7. Company, infantry regiment 107"
You guy’s should make video 100 “the best of” Whitman videos
Great video!
There's nothing like Wittmann stiffening himself up before a reveal.
That 2nd model Luft dagger at 54:00 had initials engraved under the crossguard.
Appears to be H W
Amazing....
That naval dagger gives me the fizz .
Those boots were very cool, that person took a lot of care in them. I can't afford them, but would love to know what something like those go for.
On auction anywhere from to 2 to 4k. If tom lists it under a 1000 you need to be fast!
And then suddenly it's Monday 👍.
😀 I liked this ! 👍
The guy on the bike is a Tinnie, one of about six.
Guy on the phone is a Somali Prince that wants to give you $1.5 mil just because he enjoys your videos so much. 😀
Now you don't have to throw away a perfectly good cutter any more. 🤨
Ob. That Oscar Meyer joke went right over the old mans head.
I got both eyes done with a heart murmur. Insurance paid for all.
Ob. The Great War, WWI, ended 11-11-1918 not 1901.
Great video guys.
old man got the joke
OK we need an update to your website!!!!! It has been over a month!
Thank u Tom ur comment about Finland, yes we beat those Russians and we proud of it
Look to a map. Those Russian nothing need proving. From Russia with ❤😊
I have a Nahkampfspange in gold with documentation and picture of the handover by Hitler. Unfortunately, the brace is not in good condition, because it was stored for decades in a metal box. The staff corporal Kurt Rätzel was awarded this medal on 13.12.1943. Super interesting article !!!
When my wife had eye surgery they gave her a pill to relax her and uses cocaine drops to numb her eye up. They must be afraid your heart rate might get to high with a murmur.
Speaking of eyes, I could see dollar signs in yours on those 1st 3 daggers….very nice indeed!
I saw on another channel that you had an SS Coat mint condition and sent it to a customer in australia and they ripped it apart. Whats the story behind that?
You heard correctly. Apparently Australia is very much against anyone collecting German WW II items. I haven't heard any updates so I assume no one was punished.
Not a customer , It was an idiotic customs official in Australia!
Australia is an 'Ideological battlefield' 🇦🇺
Do you recall the earlier episode number.
@@MrTruckerf i couldn't believe why someone would do that. Isn't it enough to just sent it back? I am afraid, the same thing could happen in germany because of the current politics here.
👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯🏆
Finns never won russian - its an historical fact.
They handed it to the Russians in the Winter War. That's what he meant.
I want that ring!!
Don't. It is not a known ss pattern.
SS👍👍👍👍👍
