Grocery hauls are so interesting to me! On the topic of pets and veganism, I would be super cautious about considering a vegan diet for your cats. While I've read it can be successful with dogs as long as you're careful about it, cats are obligate carnivores and it's really risky to put them on a vegan diet. My view has always been that animals aren't subject to our sense of morality--as long as my pets are happy and healthy I don't feel bad at all about buying them meat products. 😄
Thats so good to hear, I always wonder if people will find them interesting and then all the comments I receive make me happy and show that it is worthwhile :) Yep I am not considering turning my pets vegan any time soon and it's not something I have really given much thought to. It's not something I can see us doing despite being open minded to it. It's just a shame others view you as less of a vegan if yo buy meat for your pets *sigh! xx
+The V Nice Life I live in the states and I think it is so cool you guys can have groceries delivered! I have anxiety and it would be so helpful to have the option to shop from home sometimes. That seems so silly--pets don't get to choose what food they need to eat! Your pets seem super happy and well cared for and that's all that matters. :)
Dogs can eat a vegan diet but cats are carnivores and need meat to thrive, plus vegan cat food is expensive apparently, if you ask a vet they will advise against vegan cat food, but it's ok for dogs because they are scavengers naturally and don't need meat
No way Beth! I am shocked! I am certain these were vegan in the past and I guess it's my bad for not checking again recently. I always assume products remain vegan but I forget that supermarkets often change ingredients as and when it suits them :-( What a shame! Did you buy a different one? I quite like the standard Couldran ones or the make your own box too (can't recall the name now). Thanks for letting me know anyway! x
I know! Was really looking forward to them! I ended up going for the Good Life's morrocan ones, I've never had falafel so I'm quite excited to try! No problem! It's so annoying when they take a perfectly good vegan product and change it :( x

please don't make your cats vegan. I'm a vegan & an animal rights activist & I still wouldn't force my veganism onto my cats. My dogisn't vegan either but I do know it's possible to safely convert a dog to veganismin some circumstances although probably not a good idea later in life, However, cats really are true carnivores by nature & no amount of products saying they are healthy for cats canever make it right to go against nature. Really I think it would be cruel and unfair to them

I've just been on ocado to do my shop, and was going to buy those falafel but they have milk and eggs in them! Gutted
